That would be the fair and sensible thing to do.. It doesn't cost the gaa anything to give the attendance. Otherwise I see this issue blowing up big time and being on the media later on in the week.

The Galway hurling season ticket is sold out and they have a massive following. People at the match today were annoyed it was called off but they were furious that they couldn't get a credit or a ticket scanned at the venue after driving 3 hours from Galway in the treacherous rain. It was a joke.

Anyone affected should contact the county secretary to canvass Croke park to apply the credits.

Hard to know what they'll do. I already had an issue this season where I attended Carlow v Galway in Carlow and our 2 tickets were scanned but didn't register. I wasn't alone. They were having none of it.
I've already been marked as 'NOT ATTENDED'. When I got to the ground I couldn't get in.

send them an e-mail tomorrow , i imagine anyone that got scanned today will be marked as not attended due to the fact that the game did not go ahead

It was the same below in Wexford park people were treated terrible ,people queing outside the gate to get in an hour before the match no body would open the gates to let them in to the stand.

I was at walsh Park today and it was chaos. I arrived at 130 and the match was cancelled and the turnstiles were closed..

No opportunity for people to even prove they were down at the match.

I didn't head down to our Fogged off match in McHale but myself and my brother got marked for attending.

Please Note: Season Ticket attendance from yesterdays postponed fixture will be updated following the completion of next weekends refixture.

I also notice that last Saturday's fixture is gone from the attendance log.

It will be interesting to see if the scanned attendance from last week are accurate.

What about the people who went to the match and didn't get their tickets scanned.

That would be me. I didn't get into the ground so no scan.

The fixture is completely gone from the list in my account and my percentage is back up to the pre-match level. Looks like scans will also be erased.

Is the 'bring a friend' option available for the league as well as the championship? Want to being someone along to the Kerry v Mayo game but tickets are sold out it seems..

If the match is in Tralee start queuing early if ye want a seat. The gates opened at 5.00 pm when Dublin played them a few weeks back. The stand was almost full by 6.00 pm.

No.

Other than Croker, I've not seen any ground that reserves sections for ST holders for league games.

I haven't seen it as an option yet and I checked the night before a game.

Croke Park matches only and season ticket holders get an email about a week in advance about the bring a friend option.

My husband's the same when we went to Cork for a game. Last away match we were at i took a photo of card being scanned. The person he contacted about it just didn't care and basically said tough. You can't go any further than him

Last year it happened for the 1st championship game and they said tough. But I just kept at them and eventually they caved and credited me.
I really can’t be bothered my hoop doing it this year. I go to all the games so be well over the 60 per cent if we make the final. Wouldn’t go if Dublin weren’t in it so don’t need/want the 100 percent attendance.

Got an email saying the Ardan De Gras stand is almost sold out for Sundays double header NHL semi finals

A previous email said season ticket holders just need there cards too get in. Wonder have they changed it and will assign print at home/pdf tickets instead ??

Will be allocated in the lower Cusack stand.

Depending on the crowd flow in relation to the two games you may be able to change your vantage point for your beloved Deise as it's the first game.

Cool have must sort out seating groups so

Lots of cribing about Croke Park as the venue for the hurling as people say Thurles is a better option etc. Personally like it being Croke Park as it's a wonderful stadium and nice day out

Isnt it usually 'My tickets' they are in? Nothing in either section anyway. Deadline for friends and family isnt till midnight Tuesday so I imagine tickets wont appear until Wednesday at some stage

I had no problem getting them for Saturday and they're available on tickets.ie for Sunday.

Just odd announcing their availability in the email this morning.

I'll wait til Wednesday morning I guess.

Am guessing it is only if you got bring a friend ticket. I hope so anyway, 314 are pretty desperate tickets for a season ticket. Although they do tend to give poorer ones to people who avail of the bring a friend option

The choices were 301 or 314. It was a no brainer.

I'm a Dublin Football ST holder so i wasn't expecting to get the "good" seats.

Always happy in the "double-letters" mind you.

301 UU. I don't mind UU but 301 is terrible for season tickets.
I got 302 for the club final which I thought wasn't great. Loads of empty rows further in.

One on my ST is a juvenile. Would that have any bearing?
Will it improve as the week goes on?

Not a chance,not sure what size of crowd will travel but likely to be well short of a sellout.

Could to be 15-20 thousand from Mayo.

If you were simply buying a ticket on tickets.ie you'd likely have your pick of any seat in the lower Hogan stand.

No upper tier to select on tickets.ie for Sunday so that will tell you how many they are expecting. Also partly explains why your ticket isn't better - they have to fit everyone in on lower tier sections only. I'd say if upper tiers are not opened then the rest will actually be quite close to capacity.
