The fact rugby players over last 8 to 10 years suffer injuries that previously were only associated with body building (muscle tearing from.bone etc) isnt be allowed quiered by media (tbf this injury type has started to creep into gaa aswell)....i know people got blocked by irfu for asking it on social media,....surely this should alarm bells ringing

(I hope this answers all quiries etc,il try not reply as much going forward dont wanna be going on and on, annoying people)

Can you name a sample of the drug cheats caught in Rugby. Considering it's riddled in your opinion, a sample of 5 shouldn't be hard.

Simply put,they are suffering injuries that up until 8 to 10 years ago were nearly solely injuries that occured in body building

Can you gaurantee,all those who suffer achilles,miscle tearing from bone etc injuries are not related to steroid etc taking??

Its kind of an open secret mate,....like it makes sense to me,folks would 'level up' during off season and even if they are caught,likes of peter omahony,munster (whom are part funded by irfu),will give em a way back into top level and back them to play again

The GAA is another where there have been questions about drugs. I know many GAA people won't like mention of it so it is definitely unpopular.

A substancial list off caught players off wikipedia has already been listed....but like all wrong doing/bad form in media,its dismissed out of hand and laughed off :rolleyes:

Agree with most apart from We're not good at this game

Good, I guess is relative - somewhere between average/mediocre and viable contenders for a World Cup semi (which they're not).

I guess they're in and around the World's top ten as often as not - so I guess they are good - but not good enough :pac:

I suppose I would equate Ireland's rugby team to Waterford decent in the smaller competitions might win the odd one (Munster/League) - really passionate die hard fans. Enveloped in a culture but never done it on the big stage when the chips were down - World Cup or Liam McCarthy.

It leads me on to another unpopular opinion the Munster Championship in hurling is way over blown by hurling enthusiasts. Even bad games somehow get spun as great advertisements for the game! And the real annoying thing is Leinster is largely ignored until the final most of the time. It is as if Hurling only exists in Munster!
I suppose it is the same in rugby when Argentina and Japan were assumed to be no hopers. And a lot of the status quo don't like it (deep down) - despite comments about growing the game and so on.

I'd like to see rugby banned and I strongly dislike the sport. I'm not a big fan of GAA but I think football and particularly hurling are very good sports from a skill point of view. Hurling would be up there with cricket as the best sport in the world if it were played internationally.

Also the apple watch should be banned, it ain't a watch!

Good anolgy,but waterford have 2 all irelands (and have won competitve knock out matches,unlike irish smugby)

I see johnny sexton was on apoligising for sulking when being taken off(quality leadership from.the heroic skipper,not captain now,coz yanno everything needs a buzzword in rugby :pac:)....dan shanahan is still slated for doing similar 12 years ago....irish media on sexton = he's just totes passionate about the game,goys

I assume the poster is young or with a narrow horizon / viewpoint. I used to be the same myself with the inverted snobbery. But I grew up.

It might be unpopular but as long as people are sound and have a bit of "go" in them does not bother me where they come from.

Otherwise it is just for people with prejudices or chips on thier shoulders. Like the fella who sits on the barstool gives out about everything and does nothing

The fact that we have two absolute dingbats running for the western worlds most influential political post fills me with dread.

No matter what happens this story is not going to end well for anybody.

At a time when we need real leaders, look at what we have. It's absolutely f*cking terrifying to me that these two gombeen men are in this position and I can't figure out what has gone wrong.

I was thinking about this earlier, i was born 1n 1977. Leaving Jimmy Carter aside, there have been 6 different presidents in my lifetime and I cant name 3 worthy achievements between them in 40 years.

My phone and laptop are both a good few years old and my internet might take a few seconds longer than some. I’m not pushed about asking Alexa to turn on a light or play a song either.
It just does nothing for me.

Mostly because it's tied to share prices of companies who are ideally positioned to thrive in a socially distanced world (and before going CT, there are just as many high net worth individuals losing their fortune as gaining it at the moment, any magnate in oil, retail or entertainment is probably losing as much as tech companies are gaining).

Because it's tied up in stocks, the wealth isn't something that the "billionaires" have access to use.

I swore i'd never pay for music again about 10 years ago, downloaded tons of shít stuck it on my ipod - that's me sorted forever.....until google home (and more recently Alexa) entered my house, alexa play...I feel like Jean Luc Picard - well worth a tenner a month or whatever it is to spotify. Plus my kids can use it, which they couldn't really with an Ipod.

Raegan was the greatest of modern US presidents. His second term he would have had every single EC vote were it not for a few thousand votes.

Definitely hope the GOP can find somebody as charismatic, economically focussed, effective and presidential as him in the future
