Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'd need to double check, but I'm sure that Sierra was bought new buy the same guy that is still using it as his, only, and daily car.

Sounds like the man alright. He's looked after it well.

Last change of ownership on that Sierra was in September 97, though it could well have been the driver's company car or something along those lines, before he bought it for himself.

Could very well be the case.

Or I could just be plain wrong. :)

How did you check about the change of ownership, Duke?

I know where there is one that was stripped, ready to be painted, and left in the rain. A shame.

Saw it on the phone yesterday and thought it was a Morris Minor.

What's the story with the tape on the headlights? Left hand drive lights, or just holes in them?

Edit. Just copped. She's a left hooker.

Just noticed the taped headlights. Thought it was on holiday in France but it's a left hooker.:D

Ahh no. Pablo wins the prize.

So, it's a MK 3.5? Thought only the 90's Fiesta held that. :D

She's a pretty rough girl. Are they going for the patina look, or just don't give a fcuk? Like, how does it fair out with the NCT?

Ya, she's a leftie alright. Wipers and discholders point that way too.

I'd seen the car earlier in the day and wasn't able to get a pic. I saw it later in this car park took these.

I tried zooming in but the phone camera was set to low res. I can just make out the ins. disc to be 11/15. Don't think NCT was a priority. Looks like it was pulled out of a shed that morning.

That Escort is NCT’d for two years (30 years old so gets a 2 year test)

I think the insurance cert is folded a bit on the end, making it look like “11/15” but it looks to me like it says “11/19”

Great to see something as mundane as it is, and curiously LHD, in regular use! Good spot Joe!

I can call into the guy and ask about it. He'd sell it I reckon. I do know the yard was cleaned up recently, and it got moved about, so hopefully everything is there.

Speaking of plates, I went to see an '89 Mercedes 190 today that a friend of a friend has for sale and he had just VRT'd it and put it on ZV plates. I asked why he did that and his answer was so he didnt have to NCT it !!

I'm convinced that they are making better idiots every year!
