Although I'm more familiar with the first, I preferred the second, because the premise is very funny.

I have never seen Meet Me in St. Louis in its entirety - only bits of it -, but it gets my vote for that rendition of the song, even though I don't really like those kind of musicals! I don't know the other film at all.

Oooh Lethal Weapon! Watched it for the first time recently (I know!) and it's so much fun. Obviously I'm not on board with the whole Mel Gibson thing but I really enjoyed the movie.

My vote goes to Willie Wonka etc. because it is a bit of an iconic movie with some gentle, but off-the-wall, humour! I have never seen The Holiday Inn in full, but I am fed up of that clip!
