I thought :pac: was for making a joke. Whereas,

was isn't this hilarious or isn't life great.

I use for just happy or to be friendly.

In my own way, I absolutely detest smilies :mad: :pac:, and I resisted using them for as long as I could. But, when communicating in relatively short messages, especially with people you don't know that well, sometimes they're the handiest way to convey tone.

Firist I thought the thread was about similes and I was thinking up sayings with like or as.
For some reason the first one I thought of was "ar nos na gaoithe". I have no clue
I why I thought of it in Irish.

I agree they are all getting very complicated I just stick to
