Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    I think people are assuming that it will be alternate history because WW1 seems a bit restrictive, and the art style that we've seen is sort of reminiscent of something Wolfensteiny. But it totally could just be WW1.

    A beta is guaranteed, but I'd guess it'll be a half assed effort much closer to release, mostly used as a sales gimmick.

    I think Hardline had the same distance between announcement and release (about 5 months). The evening they announced it the beta was available immediately. The thought of a few cans and a battlefield 5 beta out of nowhere on a Friday evening arouses me greatly.

    i wonder if it'll be too hipster to create profiles after famous world war 1 poets for the game.

    I mean you get countless faux nazi names in any game set in world war 2, and countless GI joe and durka parody names in modern shooters.

    But If I played this with the username Sass00n or W1lfred 0wen

    would that be too hipster?

    Would typing out the entirety of dulce et decorum est just take it too far into hipsterific?

    Maybe if you go a multiplayer game without any kills the game will give you a white feather?
