Salah probably on this list the year he came up with 30+ goals.

I think he started at 9.0 or 9.5 too.

I thought all players start at X.0m or X.5m ? How did he start on 4.8m? Or was it 5.0 -> 4.9 -> 4.8 and then he got playing?

Yeah he started at 5m and dropped to 4.8.

Are these from your own memory or is there some way of retrospectively figuring these out?

Kane is memory, cheapest superstar I ever owned. The others if you go to the players profile, then their season history, you'll see on the far right the starting price and end price for each season

I feel like jimi could be added to the list not sure what he ended up at but think he started at 5.5 last year
    5.5 to 6.9

    9.0 to 10.6

Michu is one I remember because I was one of the first on the bandwagon. Another was Yakubu.
Van Persie soared up one season as well.

Mind blown! I'm guessing at least 95% of us had no idea that was there!

Michu was the one that sprang time from fairly recent times.

In the early days I seem to remember team values hitting 130-140 must have been a few from those days that hit 2m+ in the season.

Were the price change rules and transfers always the same then? e.g. you only get half of the price increase. My old brain cant remember back that far

I think there was always a tax on it can't remember if it always worked the same way or not. The algorithm definitely had more price rises though. It might be on fiso.

It was. 3 max in a week for a long time, deffo in the time of Van Persie and Michu.
It was a hell of a lot easier for regular players though as you could build your team value quite easily in the early months. I remember having a team nett value of 105.5 at Christmas one season.

Found it one day when I was browsing the site. Even went as far as making a bargain "I can't believe they were that price" team.

    Pickford £4m

    Robertson £4.2m
    PVA £4.1m
    Keane £4.2m

    Salah £6m
    Mane £6.3m
    Mahrez £4.9m
    Zaha £5.1m

    Kane £6m
    Vardy £4.6m
    Barnes £4.4m

Be lucky to find folk who would pay 4m for Pickford or 4.2m for keane this season

Zaha is probably the anomaly though - he’s still quite cheap at 6.7m

And there I was last night looking to do a straight Salah to Mane swap. Ugh.

Mane now the most expensive player in the game

Why are people selling Jimenez? Surprised to see him pegged for a drop.

More to do with Rashford and Abraham firing at similar price point.

Putting me on the spot! I've had none of them all season!

Long term Abraham but it bugs me I'd be paying nearly 1M more for him. Heavily relied on so gets subbed off more than the others. I think he'll be rested this weekend. (I don't mean to scare people but rotation is a big concern for me in general)

Lads who paid 7.2ish will be pleased with Jimenez and he tends to get full minutes.

Rashford has form and pens in an inconsistent side but is the dearest.

    I'd have Jimmi this week.

Rashford after the weekend has three friendly fixtures.

Jimenez about to drop is very baffling. Has returned in 6/8 last games and was very unlucky not to return in last game.
