Great to see Eoin O Donoghue back in the mix.

I’m clearly a pessimist so - I saw the team named and figured we we’re going to get hammered

Looking at the benches I am more optimistic again

Indeed it's a very decent bench.

    No zippy this week.

Interesting that dubs seem to be starting with experience and bringing on youth from the bench while we're starting with more youth and bringing the experienced heads off the bench. All subject to change before throw in obviously.

Looks like that is becoming the norm now as regards home teams and visitors.

A high tackle, arm around the neck.

And that was a black or yellow if the ref had brains between his ears.

I thought it was more a black to be honest. I don't think it was intentional.

Silly tackle, harsh red thought it should have been black at worst. Dublin looks like they have had the legs ran off this this week.

I’ve only ever seen yellow cards for tackles like that. Harsh Red I think.

Its a pity the referee has made such a stupid rash decision, can see Mayo tiring too much in the 2nd half to keep it competitive.

I'm pretty sure a late tackle after the ball is gone is a black.

Ryan O'D with some terrible decision making.

Hennelly rooted to the goaline for that goal.

Bizarre. Didn't even attempt to save it. It just slowly floated in.

    Certainly not a home ref

Cassidy is doing ok. A bit fussy but getting the calls right.

Lee Keegan well off the pace.

I think he thought it was going wide.

Didn't think that was a sending off, match would be closer and I reckon Mayo would be winning only for the red card. Mullen and O Hora look class, good additions!!

Flynn had loads of time after the ball had been played not to tackle the man around the head/neck. Ref may have been a bit more lenient but Flynn has form.

Some really poor shooting by Mayo.

And some soft frees for Dublin.

Looks like he learned nothing from the Kildare game.

I didn't see him do anything like that did he? A marginal red card is a bit different to decking the ref?

As the joke of about sex and the chicken goes, you deck one ref......
