Hopefully for the selector in the tracksuit that decks a player at 9 seconds in the video

Castlerahan, the Mayo of Cavan GAA, won their first Cavan Senior Championship in their 4th final in a row.

Some of their players like Ronan Flanagan, Cian Mackey and Sean Brady we’re playing in their sixth final and had five defeats to date.

Crossmaglen won Armagh after a gap of two years in an enjoyable final played in a positive spirit. Some great scores, no fighting whatsoever.

Yeah was disappointing that there was no fighting. Hard to enjoy a game these days without a good pucking match.....

It is crazy, but it's only other clubs that are expected to do it apparently.

As for the county team nobody really cares. Jesus, even the senior manager didn't bother his hole going to the county football final.

    :pac:

    That can't be true, surely!

Start delayed by extra time in Ballyfermot/Ranelagh junior final.

    Mannion having a great game.

    6 points of Crokes total.
They just cracked a goal so it’s now 1-9 to 0-7.

Jude’s had just started to come back into it.

Lots of mistakes from both teams on the basics of handling and passing.

In the Dublin hurling final, the tackle by the BB keeper was career ending stuff. Studs into the thigh. Hope the Crokes number 14s injury wasn't too bad.

It was a throwback to Hells' Kitchen days alright.

Howard hobbled back from dressing room during second half. Think main impact was on knee which was strapped. Maguire certainly lucky not to walk.

It wasn't far off levels the Keane Haaland tackle.

It was on TG4 highlights this evening.

Basically KC number 14 solos through at full pace from midfield. At full flight the BB keeper launches out with one leg studs showing into the KC number 14s thigh. It was a big impact. KC player went off injured.

Killarney Crokes looking in good shape, 5-20 was good scoring in 60 minutes.

Not a free among the 25 scores either.

Awful match to pick to show though, or were Finbarrs supposed to be better?

Mark Howard done his cruciate. Gary Maguire received 2 match ban for tackle.

Jaysus and now another one sided one on delay (one well expected to be). I know money may be tight but pity they can't bring the cameras out of the west for once, would have been far better in Newbridge today.

You’d have expected Finbarrs to be better- Crokes lost to the Cork champions last year and the Barrs have intercounty players like Maguire, shields and Sherlock.

Crokes are good but definitely beatable- there’s no point in trying to contain them though, you really have to attack them and try outscore them.
