Ring around the moon

Anyone see the beautiful ring around the moon tonight? Worth looking at folks.

Yes a moon halo. The old saying was the bigger the ring the nearer the rain. But it's a fallacy. Lovely sight.

My granny used to say it was a sign that snow was coming.

I only noticed it when i went out to look at the Iss, there just happened to be an airplane flying through it just before the iss passed by the moon. There might be another chance to see both again tonight if skies clear.

Are you sure that's the moon? It doesn't look like it.

Yes, it was just a quick snap on the phone and it couldn't focus properly on the moon itself.
The blurry dot just under it is the Iss.

Theres 2 passes of the ISS this evening, the first one is a very bright one at 8.07 - 8.12 and should pass very close to the moon so a good chance to get a good photo.
The second shorter one is at 9.43 - 9.45, both traveling west to east.
