Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Is there anything else you can stick in there, in that cab, I wonder?

Change the control panel and you can make that cab into almost anything, but the game is medium resolution, so the monitor might be medium res only, or it might be low/medium res.

If its 19" I will take it but they seem to be a rare beast believe it or not.
There is a few 19" flat crts around but they wont fit the machine (megatouch XL)

Checked there, it's 17" unfortunately (Dell E771p). Likely no good to you, but you can take it away if you like :)

Is anyone looking for a XRGB Framemeister? I've aquired a second but no longer need it for the project it was bought for.

They are hard to get these days direct and ebay is stupid money from profiteers.
Anyway, I'm not looking to profit from it, so no rip off prices from me.

I'd rather it go to someone here that ebay or adverts.

Yeah. I'd definitely be interested. Been waiting for Solaris to get them back in stock.

Not quite a bargain, but a definite retro want of mine
    http://www.ebay.ie/itm/Atari-Sears-Tele-Games-Pong-/192206479347?hash=item2cc0661ff3:g:ZFEAAOSwmgJY4B2j
    latest?cb=20110501203612
An original Pong console, released through Sears in the States under the Telegames brand in 1975, prior to the later Atari branded Pong machine in 1976.
My own Pong console is the second one, called Super Pong, it's identical but for a four way switch to select game variants, but I would still love an original Pong machine!
And this one is priced fairly keenly too, around €100 all in, not including the inevitable customs charges.

I don't know if this is still available - 33" 4:3 CRT, complete with stand.

I got one of these recently, and it's fab. It's like the monolith from 2001: A Space Odyssey. While playing I noticed things like jerky diagonal scrolling in Guardian force that I never noticed before.

    That's scary...
Tempted to go get it, but I don't think it'd fit up the stairs!
Plus, the Sony 29" would be très jelly

As a 45 year old gentleman I'd feel a tad uncomfortable playing a Kim Possible game... now, where did I leave that copy of Senran Kagura Burst???

The Recreated Spectrum available for 30 quid (pounds). Not my cup of tea, but a decent option for emulation when it's unlocked.

    http://www.game.co.uk/en/m/the-recreated-sinclair-zx-spectrum-2050251

    Cheapest I've seen it anyway.

Edit: Here's a link to unlock it if you get one:

Oh, and this offer is only on for today and tomorrow.

One of these beauties is available on Adverts,
    A PS2 TEST console.
And listed for €170, so some wiggle room there perhaps.

Fyi this device is region free, for both PS and PS2 games, perfect for the importer.

Just spotted and now downloading Raiden V for the XB1.
I'm posting this fact up because it's a steal at €7 for the next few days, before it goes back to €29.99.

    Of Raiden V?
    Cool.
I have Raiden IV Overkill for the PS3, unfortunately it's just not as good as Raiden or Raiden 2, and not fit to wash the feet of Raiden DX

A PC/PS4 and a Switch has you modern gaming ready.
The poor XB1 doesn't know it's already dead.
I have to find reasons to use mine, backwards compatible games are possibly the only reason, there is nothing 1st party worth owning on it.

Well Rare Replay is an absolute bargain as is Halo Master Chief collection. Halo 5 I heard is a load of hairy arse.

Rare Replay isn't quite the collection of stone cold classics it might have been a decade ago.
Their slavish attention to detail is great but games like Jet Force Gemini really fall down on their antiquated and bonkers control set, almost unplayable.
    Blastcorps is still legend though.
Halo:MCC is great value but Halo 5 is all over too quickly, and the Spartans have weird giant heads.
There was a time when, for console FPS, Halo was where it was at (aside from Firewarrior of course)
But now we have so much to choose from, Doom, Wolfenstein making amazing comebacks and the myriad of FPS titles worth our time both AAA and from indie studios.

You're wrong about Rare Replay because, whatever it's short comings, it still has Jet pac. :)

Lunar Jetman isn't half as good as I hoped it would be though :(
But the original Jet Pac is legend, I had it on my Speccy back in the day.
Not a fan of the remake though.

I agree on the remake, I think they tried to do too much with it. Being honest, once uptg got past the 16k era I went off them, they were never my favourite Spectrum publisher, think people got sucked in by the lovely packaging, I never warmed to their isometric stuff either, preferred Head over Heels and Batman amongst others.

Rare Replay is a decent blast from the past otherwise, got it for my kids to show them what I played, think it's their least played game sadly!

I have a Mitsubishi 14" TV here for nothing. With square sides, it's handy for TATE. It has a good picture for a 14".

First post on adverts, id be very careful about sending money to that. could be a scam. seems like a copy and paste, talks about free UK shipping, i dunno, just looks a bit dodge to me.

EDIT: seems to have some phones and another cab listed too. still though, could be dodgy.

Those ones from the north for rare expensive items usually are. Okay, well I've seen it once on there.
Much safer to wire my brother the money and I'll check it out when I'm on shore leave from the submarine.
