Crimson Tide. Hunt for Red October. I'd avoid any of those true life crime ones, where women kill and defenestrate their spouses.

'Inside out'- animated movie, think it's by Pixar. Happy tears ending.

Basically every Pixar film fits the criteria.

I watched Sense and Sensibility last night and that's also fantastic comfort cinema, well made and both sad at times but with a happy ending (not that kind).

Panadol - Not a movie but I found out yesterday they give period pain relief. This is not medical advice, it said it on the box.
Might be good porn movie name though The Panadolls...

Seen that movie the pandadolls suck your balls. Its basically what it says on the cover panda dolls well its obvious

You have a choice after that - more Tony Scott, or more submarines?

    Netflix.

    Ricky Gervais.

    Afterlife Season 1

    Followed by

    Afterlife Season 2.

That's your perfect/most recent (show) answer to this question.

I have more than a sneaking regard for the funny A.H. type answers, though.

    Nobody said Hachi yet? :pac:
You'll smile, you'll laugh, you'll cry, then smile while crying. Then cry again. Finally smile through the floods of tears.

You don’t need to be able to act when your dad is the director.

    An Officer and a Gentleman
    When Harry Met Sally
    Annie Hall
    Outrageous Fortune
    Thelma and Louise
    Pride & Prejudice

I am a mans' man and I have sat through all of the above and tolerated them, they are entertaining enough. I would spice it up with toffee popcorn and ice cream. Just get vanilla ice cream and pour a large packet of Maltesers over it into a very large bowl and share. Works for me.
