My missus is on her period and she wants to watch films that are happy and sad. Help?

I've been tasked with finding films that are both happy and sad at the same time. We watched The Intern the last time and she enjoyed it bigly, even though she was crying because she felt sorry for the "that old man" (Robert Deniro). So I think that's the kind of film I should be aiming for... feel good movies or comedies…
