Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Every now and then the odd story of a cancellation crops up here but I think it’s more a f*** up than a cancellation
That story is then followed by success stories from everyone else
6 months done now and it’s cost me €15 so far lol
I was wondering if amazon would do the same thing but after having a trial for that I wouldn’t even pay a euro for 6 months it’s total garbage in comparison

Since finding the US Netflix, it's even better again.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,826 ✭✭✭masterboy123

There was a post where Netflix account was available on a sharing basis. I can't find it anywhere. Anyone can help me please.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,532 ✭✭✭EagererBeaver

There's no official sharing option from Netflix.

What's happening is that people are sharing one account as it allows you to create up to four profiles.

That's exactly I am looking for. There used to be a thread, but can't find it now.

It was this thread where people said if they wanted to join a group
Best option is start your own account and get three others to join you and collect the money from them

Set some terms, use more than one screen and you get bounced from the group with no refund and no snooping ( I don’t care who sees what I watch anyway tbh

No way of knowing who is watching/using more than 1 screen or if you are snopping on others ?

I’ve been in a group for 8 months and never had a problem and it’s cheap as chips, I’d never use more than one screen at a time that’s just being an arse

Of course it's being a dickhead but my point is there isnt any way of stopping it,setting a few terms isn't going to stop someone when there's no way of monitoring it.
You just have to hope you are in with a few sound people.

Or, you know, fork up the extra 5 euro a month it costs to have a plan to yourself.

If you're comfortable sharing with people, do it. If you're not, don't.

Issues such as account not working properly and asking me to pay again at Irish rates.

Do it properly as the other poster has told you and you won’t have any issues
If you are really worried then just pay the Irish subscription
Read the thread for more info rather than keep asking things that have been clearly covered in the thread
Small bit of research on your part goes along way rather than being spoon fed info

I was offered a one month Netflix free trial with Netflix and intend to use it. So far I've downloaded tunnelbear & set up an account with the location as Mexico. If I accept the free trial will my location be known or can I still get Netflix cheaper. Thanks

Tunnelbear specifically is not a requirement, rather you need to use a VPN. It just happens that tunnelbear is free and easy to use, but hola, along with a host of other free vpn's , will do an equally good job

its all on the netflix website lol

Netflix is a monthly service that will automatically charge you every month on the date you signed up. If your billing date is scheduled for a date that does not occur in a given month, you'll be charged on the last day of that month instead. Your payment method will be charged at the beginning of your billing cycle, but it may take a few days for the charge to post to your account.

For information about the Netflix billing process, continue reading. For information about Netflix costs or accepted payment methods, or instructions for updating your payment method, changing your billing date, or reporting a duplicate charge

When you sign up for a free trial, Netflix verifies your payment information by submitting an authorization for roughly the same amount as the cost of the monthly Netflix membership. This process helps us ensure that the information provided is associated with a valid, open account that can be charged successfully in the future. The authorization is not a charge, and will drop off of your account.

How much: depends on the options you pick.
When: Netflix is a monthly service that will automatically charge you every month on the date you signed up. If you have a free trial the first charge is a month after you sign up.

This thread is huge, so no way am I looking through it all to see if this has already been posted, Posting it mainly because of updates and new offers.

The cheapest countries are Turkey, Mexico, Canada, Argentina & Brazil.

Check the current prices of each Country by clicking here or here and choosing Country.

    Basic: Turkey €2.92 / TRY15.99 -- Mexico €4.70 / MXN109
    Standard: Turkey €5.10 / TRY27.99 -- Mexico €6.50 / MXN149
    Premium: Turkey €7.30 / TRY39.99 -- Mexico €8.60 / MXN199

Revolut and Monese are accepted (Get €5 starting credit with Monese using code HQNPP8ED)
You can move your Netflix account. After it expires, you can cancel your account and move to a new Country and resubscribe. All of your history etc. is preserved.

If you want to use a free VPN, Hola works.

Stacksocial currently have a lifetime subscription to Getflix for $34.90 (€30).

I've been using Mexico without issue for 2 months now. Used TunnelBears free VPN plan to set it up. If there's a Turkish VPN people are using I would use it to switch.
