Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Actually got a decent 1-2cms off that heavy small flaked snow, dry as powder stuff.

The showers died quickly partly because the land is so dry in the area and intensely cold.

Ye, they're forming, but look at the min that they're headin for the North :(

Further south I think the width of the UK land mass is drying out the air too much. There is some slight bubbling up just before the South Dublin and Wicklow coasts, but not substantial enough for any resulting showers to make it inland.

I am not making the snow or delivering it. just looked at various radar :)

This system is so slow moving that it has potential to drop a load on UCC. Unless you are in CIT, in which case it will be rain mostly :p

No,it's UCC and I have an exam tomorrow :D

minus 1.2c at present in Sligo

A strange sort of a day. The temperature only got to a max of minus 0.4c today after tipping minus 4 last night.

However this evening after tipping minus 2.6c the wind has picked up slightly and we are back at minus 1.2c.

I see it is 5c in Costa Del Malin Head

Same here. Is this a cruel trick by the radar guy at Met Eireann?

I'm gonna call it quits if it doesn't improve / restart in 5 mins.

I'm right under that and haven't seen a single snowflake. I reckon its very light powdery snow and not reaching the ground at 15m asl. Seems to be reaching the hills in the surrounding areas though.

Anything expected on meath coast anytime soon (Bettystown)?

We finally got our first snow today, but from all differant radars doesnt look like there is any forecasted at least for the next 6 hours anyways ! !

Light snow again here in Dundalk. Nice flakes. Bands over Co. Down appear to be trying to move towards here. Could have the odd shower throughout the night.

This snow shower seems to be coming from a westerly direction, all the other snow for arklow came from the east:confused: it seems like its the snow from earlier blowing back this way:confused:
