Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Tigers vs Storm was a very tense one.

Pleased for the Warriors. That's the kind of game I think last season they would have let slip from their winning position.

Ponga impressive again for the Knights.

Titans beat the Sea Eagles today, and Eels lost again, today's loss was to the Panthers. Its now Parramatta's worst start for 27 years.

The table at the moment probably looks upside down compared to what most people would've predicted at the start of the season.

I sure am. Even putting aside Saints it's good to see some different teams at the top.

I think the week in week out unpredictability of it all is fascinating, and teams playing exciting, expansive rugby are doing well.

Titans seem to be a much happier outfit without the Hayne distraction and Parramatta by contrast seem to be all over the place.

Lot of difficult to call games again this week. Sydney derby should be a good start to the round.

Bunnies got the bounce of the ball a couple of times second half, but deserved the win. How they weren't a mile in front after the first forty I don't know. They cut the Roosters to bits and went in all square.

Nice try by Latrell Mitchell but not much else to celebrate for the Roosters. Damien Cook deserved Man of the Match for the Rabbitohs.

Certainly looking the real deal. Still not getting excited it's too early. I was reading Dragons fans are buying up GF tix already. Let's see what happens during origin b4 getting excited.

Love Dufty's injection of pace. Smoked the Sharks today.

Gallen got a nasty looking injury in that game. Seems Sharks are now without him, Fifita, Wade Graham and Luke Lewis after that defeat.

Heads up that tomorrow morning Sky Sports Arena is showing Cowboys vs Bulldogs from 8:30 and Raiders vs Eels from 10:30.

I'd say those are the most viewer-friendly times Sky have shown NRL games since they got the rights.

 is all I can say about that half for the Cowboys. Bulldogs playing them off the park, scored a try with 12 men and a drop goal. Lead 19 nil at half time.

    Edit: finished 27 - 10.

Another shocker from Thurston. Did he play on a year too long? I'll be shot if anyone from Queensland sees me type this:P

Eels poor again today. Some big hits that were close to being dirty especially from the Raiders first half imo.

The defence from the Bulldogs was very good, especially in the first half. You could see the Cowboys were running short on ideas.

    Eels so bad right now.

  • Registered Users Posts: 784 ✭✭✭kirk buttercup

What a Rollercoaster of emotion supporting the Bulldogs is

Disappointed the Warriors winning streak ended but still a cracking start to the season.

Doesn't get easier, next up it's the Dragons.

Dragons V Warriors should be good. Eels are a complete disaster something must be going wrong there. There has been rumors of unrest.

Signing James Maloney is looking like a super bit of business by the Panthers.

Wherever he goes the team seems to lift. I don't think he gets the credit he deserves sometimes. 2 titles with 2 clubs doesn't happen too often.

I've always liked him as a player - interesting to note that the clubs he has left have always suffered a bit after his departure - Sharks could do with him at the moment.

Josh Reynolds out for at least a month with a shoulder injury. He's looked good for the Tigers this year.

Junior Paulo is heading back to Parramatta next year. Too late to help them this season their forwards are terrible. Strong rumours too about Bellamy to take over from Bennett maybe as early as next season.

 Ah well had to happen.Roll on Wed V Roosters. Been to the Anzac game a few times. Always a great day out. Dragons have a decent record in this game. A Wednesday is not ideal tho and the Roosters have an extra days recovery.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,061 ✭✭✭✭Tom Mann Centuria

Delighted with the Warriors win, honestly thought after last week they'd struggle. Only caught up with the game now, thoroughly enjoyable.

Broncos vs Storm was another good game. Looked like Broncos were mounting a fightback but Storm pulled clear. Wasn't sure about that Slater try but NRL officials are adamant it was legit.

Hope the games Sky show on Saturday are as good as today's ones. Sky Sports Action showing the last two games: Tigers vs Knights and Cowboys vs Titans. I'm especially looking forward to Tigers versus Knights. Not sure Ponga can help Knights win this one but who knows?!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,980 ✭✭✭Pauliedragon

Media is all about the refs again ftom the storm game. They spend too much time on it. They make mistakes move on. It's been an exciting season so far focus on the games.

Good first half for the Knights with the wind behind them, defended repeat sets really well.

Fantastic game, thought the Knights had blown it early 2nd half but what a finish. Brilliant.

Cowboys look like they're finally going to win again. Damp squib of a game though.

Just seen Mitchell Pearce could be out for the season for the Knights, that's pretty sh*t after such a great win.

Oh well, give me an easy life and a peaceful death.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,630 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

Hell of a result for the Knights. Sorry to hear about Pearce's injury though.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,061 ✭✭✭✭Tom Mann Centuria

Parramatta finally get one in the win column. Did it in style too, hammered Manly. Hayne went off before the second half, coincidence? I think not.

Sharks beat the Panthers just now, 26 - 22 another five minutes I think the Panthers would have caught them.

Knights confirmed Pearce is out for 16 weeks.

Oh well, give me an easy life and a peaceful death.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,980 ✭✭✭Pauliedragon

Manly need to nip this Hastings drama in the bud I reckon, their season could implode very easily there's a lot more going on that we've heard. Well done to the eels this is what people were expecting from round 1. I agree re Hayne Tom. He's a distraction, a bad influence around training and his bad attitude far overtook his talent a long time ago.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,630 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Nice Guy

Impressive win for the Sharks given their injury problems. Surprised by the margin of the Eels win. Wonder if this will be a turning point for them.
