Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

What are the chances of them adding an extra date?

There’s a big gap between Berlin and Dublin gigs. My prediction is they’ll do the 12th in Dublin too.. With ticket demand so strong they’d be mad not to do as many as they can.. Sadly, I can’t see them ever playing here again..

They're also admittedly touring for money (Nicks has repeatedly refused to record for an album and would rather tour given the financial benefits) so it's in their interests.

Passed on tickets because of Buckingham, just not the same for me. Will still be a great gig though.

    Missed out on tickets :(

There isnt a chance that this gig is really sold out.

I`m not into all this headhanging. Concert goers are a different species to me, I don`t mean that in a bad way. What kind of stuff do they play?

You’ve never heard of Fleetwood Mac?! You’d definitely know a few of their tunes unless you’ve been living under a rock for the last 40 years. It’s classic rock, not really head banging stuff

Had FOMO and got two pitch 2 standing....after several attempts....
Not going to be as good as 2015 but decided its the LAST time I will go see them....
Keep trying back to others with no luck today they become available sporadically closer on the event.....keep your eye on toultess too

    Got mine this morning thankfully
Hope they add an extra night for all of you who have missed it.

zero chance they play on the 12th, they don't do back-to-back nights on tour.
they can't do after the already announced gig on Thurs 13th either as they're in London on Sunday 16th.

if there is a second night, it'll be Monday 10th or Tuesday 11th.

they play Berlin on Thurs 6th, so can add another night there on the Sat 8th/Sun 9th and still have a gap from Dublin on Mon/Tues.

I'd have thought that they'd announce a 2nd night by now though, if they were doing it...

What are platinum tickets? Few left if anyone wants to pay €350 a pop.. lol.

They are just normal tickets that Ticketmaster and the artist sell at eye watering prices for in demand events.
    No difference to normal tickets.
They drip feed them too .

There will be mountains of tickets available for this next June ,Ticketmaster have held loads back to drive the Platinum sales.

Same goes for Pink! Very very rare I have never got a ticket for a gig here, always tickets nearer the date.

    People can't make it etc..

As predicted it has gotten a lot harder to get tickets for these events at general sale, ever since they shut seatwave and ramped up platinum/VIP/Experience/Meet&Greet/Bendover

Anyone have a list of the ticket prices for the gig? Missed out initially but hoping to pick up a few tickets closer to the gig for the folks.

Cant find them on the ticketmaster page

I managed to get 2 tickets at 9am last Friday for someone who was on a flight when the tickets went on sale. Got the confirmation email and it's on my credit card but I can't seem to access the e-tickets. If I click on 'View my tickets' it brings me to the receipt page. I can't see a PDF anywhere. Is this normal, will they be released at a later date ?

I don't know about Fleetwood Mac but I know that the P!nk pdf tickets won't be available for a month so I'd say it's similar.

Cheers Marc, I thought as much but I was a bit nervous when they are not my tickets.

not that there was much chance at this stage, but a 2nd night is definitely not happening, they're playing Pinkpop Festival on the 10th, so no room left now really for another Dublin night with a night off for resting.

Did anyone order the limited edition CD with their tickets and get it yet? Was hoping to have it on the 16th.

No hassle. They might get them out this week before Xmas.

Anyone have a gut instinct on whether tickets for this will become available (at face value resell or from tm) nearer the gig. I'd love to go, and I can afford to pay a tout. But I'd rather not support that, so if waiting for face value makes sense I will.

There will be loads of tickets released by TM ,you will easily get one for face value or less close to the gig.

Cool, GF wants to book flights to be here for it. So I reckon I'll just tell her to go ahead.

    Book the flights.
As said there will be tickets for sale closer to the date.

At worst you could be sitting outside having a few tinnies listening to them ;)
Seriously there should be tickets available, there's 281 on one of the secondary sites so they all will have to be offloaded if nobody buys them on the site.

I wouldn't mind going to this but every time I read reviews of gigs in the RDS it seems to always be a complete ****show. The thread on Paul Simon from last year being the last example. Is it always as bad as it seems?

    Hi!
I'm after having a bit of a messy breakup with someone, who has 4 tickets for this show.
She wants to offload them to me, and said that she will email me the tickets if i send her the money, i know this sounds mad, but i don't trust that she wouldn't try to sell them on to others as well to **** me over.
Is there any way of guaranteeing that someone wouldn't just sell multiple e-tickets to Viagogo etc.?
She's short on money, so would like to help her out... because she bought them knowing that i liked FM, but can someone please explain the legalities of the above. Will her name be on the tickets for example?

If they are the new mobile/e- tickets, she can transfer them to your ticketmaster account

New tickets with new barcodes will then be assigned to your email address

    https://help.ticketmaster.ie/hc/en-ie/articles/360008601454-Ticket-Transfer

Get her to transfer the tickets before you pay

Most gigs will release extra tickets leading up to the event.

Wouldn't worry too much about it. Just won't be the same without Buckingham.

Anyone interested in swapping two seated tickets for two standing? Have a foot injury but really want to go!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,136 ✭✭✭mossy464

Doesn't seem to be any sign of extra tickets released for this. Thought there would be at this stage. Any that go up on toutless etc are taken straight away.

Could be worth trying toutless for this. I'm trying to swap golden circle tickets to pitch standing but think will just try swap outside on the day

Hi folks, this may have been asked before, but what would be the situation with parking within a reasonable distance from the RDS? Don't mind having to pre pay for it or whatever but have heard the traffic can be quite awful. Would it be better to park somewhere else and get a tax or bus to the RDS?

For this gig I'd say you'd be fine to drive and park on street somewhere off Ailesbury road or the N11. You won't be arriving till 7, when most (but check the signs) parking becomes free. A ten minute walk to the RDS from there.

If its a nice day id park somewhere in town then either hop on a bus or walk out?
It can be a nice walk back into town imo

    Where you travelling from/to?
That will help with where you should park?

Traveling from the M7, not used to Dublin driving but don't mind doing it if it ment getting relatively close to the venue. Just had heard some horror stories about the traffic around the RDS but not too inclined to believe them.
