Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I don't know if it's been said here yet but if you don't get the automatic discount follow instructions on:

    https://www.electricpicnic.ie/information/ticket-info/how-claim-your-loyalty-ticket-discount-code

They mention that you can also bring in physical proof of attendance to Ticketmaster outlets listed in:

I’ve bought tickets for 13 picnics and only got a discount for 2. I’ve always got the full discount and of course there is nobody on the phones to correct this.

  • Registered Users Posts: 173 ✭✭boyznoise

A discount code would be much appreciated if going unused :)

    Glamping...
The companies that I know of are hearthworks,
    podpads and
    lpm bohemia...
Are there any more companies? I wanted the cool white roundy shape one.

Check the EP website for details on what is available.

@Rico the thread starter, if you're still able to can you edit the first post to add the contact details in for people who need to badger ticket bastard for codes.

My first post is locked to me, I actually can't edit it but can edit my other posts.

I would love a 3 picnic's or more discount code if any are going/ will be unused?

    Thanks!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,664 ✭✭✭dirkmeister

Some jokers in TM sending out 2 or less codes today. I got mine even though it’s a 3 or more I should have gotten.

Does anyone know if it is Ticketmaster or Festival Republic who manage the loyalty code application process? What system are they using that each year I buy through ticketmaster online yet each year I have to send them all my previous codes in order to get the correct code. With tickets going on sale in the morning and not having my correct code, it's very frustrating!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 107 ✭✭effibear

Wrong code sent to me again this year, always the 1-2 picnics not 3+, I’ve checked my order history and the evidence is all there. Had to buy using the lower discount last year as no time to get updated code. year before I missed out on family camping waiting for code.
    Very frustrating.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,529 ✭✭✭patch

If anyone has a spare code for a 3 year discount, I will send back my very best thanks....😊

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,098 ✭✭✭Poorside

Podpads won’t have any tents next year, just contracted for wooden structures.

  • Registered Users Posts: 387 ✭✭setanta74

Bought all tickets through TM since 2014. Family camping since 2015. Got codes automatically last few years. Nothing received this evening yet.
Any other family campers get theirs? Time to panic?

I got a code, but it’s the wrong code.
If you use gmail check if it is in a promotions folder.

If anyone has a spare loyalty code there not using, can I have this please? My contact preferences were changed thanks to GDPR and now I have no loyalty codes. Judging by the amount of people buying early bird I think these will sell out tomorrow so don’t want to miss opportunity. Much appreciated

Family camping will be gone quickly tomorrow.

I just emailed customerservices@ticketmaster.ie with my pics
    They replied:

So hopefully that works to get code....

Anybody email this earlier today? I did but received no code and I doubt I will before tomorrow

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,840 ✭✭✭Mucker46

6 picnics all through TM still got code for 2 or less. Muppets.

I tried contacting TM all day with a few emails, no response back yet, and no codes either. If anybody has spare codes whether it be 1-2 or 3+, I'd be very thankful!

I’m the same. Emailed my proof earlier and got the same generic reply about getting my code after 6 but got nothing.

Lads, has anyone stayed in the actual podpads? Are they as claustrophobic as they look?

(no, just think they look goddamned awful)

10 picnics and got code for 2.

I smell a rat here. Loyalty tickets to be conveniently sold out before people get their correct code

  • Registered Users Posts: 595 ✭✭✭dmm82

In need of a code too if anyone has one spare one. Been to 7 but no code sent to me :(

The 2 person ones are snug and uncomfortable when it's particularly hot but by the time EP comes around, we don't usually have to deal with hot temperatures.

Also got a 2 picnic code but I've been to 7.

Anyone know if they still take the photographic evidence?

Any idea what the lux ones are like?

My friend sent it off. No word back yet. I might ring first thing in the morning. Chance my arm.

I guess every code costs them 40 euro, makes sense for them to not send them to everyone who should get one.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,544 ✭✭✭Hogzy

Im the same. Iv been to 7 picnics, 6 of which I bought through my TM account and I was sent a 1-2 time loyalty code. Bloody ridiculous!!!!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,909 ✭✭✭Stillill42

7 picnics, wrong code for me too. It does seem to be a distressingly common feck up.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,840 ✭✭✭Mucker46

For those who got the wrong code have you contacted TM or are you just going with the one you got?

My previous experience is that contacting them doesn't make a difference.

A bit bigger than the standard but pretty much the same inside.

I've contacted them, I've never had an issue with them sorting it out. I think they just hope people won't go to the bother.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 276 ✭✭Lester Freamon

EP can earn €40 for every normal ticket versus a person with a 3 picnic loyalty.

There could be 12,000 people (at least) entitled to a 3 picnic loyalty.

Replace them with regular tickets and you have made just short of half a million euros extra revenue....

I've had the same craic the last couple of years, have always contacted them and they've always sorted it. I've emailed today and tried ringing without success. I don't know if they'll sort me in time this year.

Can a dude working at a ticketmaster outlet sort out your proper code?

Bit like ep announcement seems much later this year as I have had to sort other years but seemed liked had more time to do it

I emailed and I sent a message through the contact form on their website.

If anyone has a spare code going begging I would be gratefull if you could pm it to me.

Bought ticket for God son for his 18th earlier this year through ticketmaster and have not received a code. checked all my folders in email but no joy.
He's been onto me for the code as he wanted to buy ticket himself for next year

Is there any cause for concern if I don't get tickets in the morning? Is it likely to sell out at the early bird price?

Unlikely to be able to get them with work

It's not going to sell out tomorrow morning. You'll be likely fine doing it over the weekend.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,020 ✭✭✭kg703

So annoying box for Ticketmaster ticked and no code once again. Even emailed them early and they assured me my code would come after 6pm

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,637 ✭✭✭Mollyb60

Why does EP want the ticket codes but ticketmaster will take photos of your wristbands etc? Kinda bollox.

Also emailed ticketbastard earlier and they confirmed the code would be sent through to me but I've got nothing back yet. :(
