Bug with my game is getting worse. Every single time I finish a match and go back to the lobby, it won't let me go to Party Ready, which means every single time I finish a game I have to completely close the game and reopen it.

It's actually a testament to how fun the game is that I bother doing this.

I actually think your better off with your fists. Melee attacks kind of follow your target a little making them easy to land, just slide and jump around like a lunatic :P

With the Mozambique you have 3 shots before reload, you most land all 3 to kill without armor or 1 head and 1 anywhere else (this if all pellets hit too).

Its the only gun I can't stand using and it seems to be always the first gun I find xD

are you on ps4? its actually quicker to hit the ps button, go to the network settings, and quickly disconnect / reconnect. (in my experience anyway).

It's great at finishing off enemies when their sheild is down, rather than reloading an assault rifle . If they are down with a knockdown shield the Moz smashes it. But as your primary i much prefer the auto pistol.

I got a bug yesterday where I had to walk at a snail's pace. Apparently it can happen when you're revived. Luckily I was the robot guy so I just kept dragging myself along with my grapple :pac:

That happened me a few times. Tried downing myself and get revived by teammate but still persisted until I was dead. Very annoying!

I've had the crashing issues described above too, happened a couple of times on Saturday when I was playing for a couple of hours. I don't have the settings maxed (nVidia 970), but might roll back the driver if it continues to haunt me.

No love for the Mozambique in my house either. Watched a clip of that PubG guy Shroud playing - he's mostly using the Wingman and I can see why, just means I'll have to start sucking a lot less with my aim

Not sure if it's the same as the moving bug described. But I'd one where I could walk normally but sprint was bugged, it moved like it was running at 5 fps but everyone else looked normal sprinting past me.
Only had it twice.

Just to unlock mirage now and try for a win there and I've got 1 each, then to do the 8k damage with each character.

Melee ignores knockdown shields so its actually usually faster and more efficient to punch someone to death, you can also push their loot box for a few seconds after they die to loot somewhere safer

They are on about the PC version. No idea if you can check such things on PS4 or Xbox.

I play with AA maxed, textures maxed and everything else off or on low to give me a stable 144+ fps and helps a lot of visibility. Game still looks great with these settings too.

Everything is at low or off, i do have texture streaming budget at 8gig, im running on a GTX 1070 though, so shouldnt be a problem

Or would i be better off dropping it to 6 or lower?

You shouldn't have any issues with the 1070. Its probably a driver issue as mentioned earlier as I have over 70 hours with an Rx 580 with no issues what so ever.

I know there’s better loot in certain places but why do players always go for there even when there’s 10 other squads going the same way. Inevitably it just ends in one big war. If you win grand but otherwise it’s straight back to the ****in title screen and more loading. Right now it’s my biggest pet peeve about this otherwise fab game

If I'm playing with people on discord we tend to always go for the most contested area and work on our teamplay. Its a very good and fast way to get better but if queuing solo I either jump or ping somewhere as far as possible to give us a chance to gear up before we engage with poor communication.

I find when queuing solo if you have a mic, just ask to be jump master. Most people don't care really.

Yeah I tend to jump in with randoms. In a squad I can see how it’d work but with randoms it’s a horror shown most of the time if I’m honest.

You need to be recovered at the banner respawn to break that bug. Seen it happen to a few team mates. Was funny :pac:

Jumping off a cliff helped knock me out of that bug. Not sure why but was going really slow trying to escape, i hit the ground and sprinted off.

Yeah theres some rare weird bugs which can happen, not being able to swap or use weapons, i find this one happens when looting, only had it happen twice. I would advise dropping weapons to fix it, failing that try use one of your characters abilities.

The walking one above happened to a friend, although up until i read the post above, he thought he had just toggled walk by accident but didnt know the button to reverse :pac:

If you press Start/Options & then the touchpad it brings you back to the main menu & it should work then. It's still very annoying but quick enough.

Playing on PC and i can't shoot for ****e. Took a chance a tried with pad on PC and took second place in a kill heavy game with 5 kills for myself. Playing console shooters has ruined me. I might try it again on PS4, but the unstable frame-rate is a killer. They should strive for 60 constant imo

Frame rates are not bad on console. I am on the Xbox One X and I have no issues at all with frame rate.

PS4 Pro and no frame rate issues. Smooth as silk.

I wish there was a "stay as group option" after the match is over. Had a good squad last night. Worked together well, stayed close. Managed to respawn a couple of times as well. We finished 3rd, and could have won if we had more time as a squad, I think.

I finally got a crash after 14 hours. I'm not too annoyed until it's fixed if it only happened every 10 hours or so I won't complain.

The one thing that cracks me up about randoms, the vast majority of them are so thirsty for kills, they tend to ignore the fact that a teammate has also been knocked, and end up running into a blaze of gunfire, inevitably getting killed by the other team. If lads could be a bit more patient and focus on threats rather than the downed guy, a lot of engagements woudl have a different outcome.

And don't get me started on the one randomer who continues looting away while the other two are in a firefight. If you haven't been seen, flank, you ape!

On PSPro I set the FOV to 90 as 70 is way to low. Maybe this is the reason for my poor performance? Is there also server issues in PSN? I'm connected with ethernet but as I'm landing the game is rubberbanding alot.

Had a really 'quiet' win couple nights ago. Landed far side of map from circle and met no-one on the way. Heard gun fire off in distance but was taking us away from circle so ignored.

In on 15 wins now with lifeline, only level 23. Had 5 wins last night with a friend. Unlocked Mirage, look forward to trying him later as his abilities fit my style of play.

Patch today that addresses crashes. Wahey -- hope I don't have them anymore.

Edit -- Whelp, still crashed. Game just freezes.

I only know I have 50 wins with lifetime because of some badge. Its really bizarre the lack of stat tracking on the game.

Is cross-play seriously being suggested? KB+m v Controller is never going to to work. I don't know why this is often promoted in BR games. Fearful console peasant asking.

Sure I heard you can now use mouse and keyboard on consoles now anyways? Though some games I do believe block it. It would be an extremely unfair advantage to the controller user if they do go through with it though. I doubt they will as it has massive esport potential imo.

Getting on fine with fortnite cross platform tournaments and range fighting in this game is not as strong as the close range fighting so I don’t think cross platform will be too bad

I’m sure it will be something that you can toggle on and off too

Fortnite is a 3rd person shooter. KB+M still are better but not as much of an advantage as you get with FPS. Also its not just the KB+M advantage. PC gamers can play at 244 FPS with a 244 hz monitor make everything nearly life like smooth. Consoles run at 60 FPS I assume?

On another note, Anyone hear anything about when they are releasing the battle pass? I'd like to unlock more stuff while playing rather then just buy loot boxes.

Just do cross-platform like GTA V on the pc - you can filter by control method for online stuff and so controller users won't be getting brutalised. Simples.

Wow it was lag! Connected to the London server and the game is running smooth now. I've experienced lag and unstable framerate in loads of games before, crazy to think it was lag this time when it felt so much like poor framerate!

-Edit- Oh, just won a game now i don't have lag. Now what? Very much a play with your friends game compared to other BRs. No urge to play anymore lol

it does, and I even managed to sign up for 2nd free trial by choosing "other countries" in the list selection.

I got Twitch Prime awards after signing up for the free trial before - was about 18 months ago and I signed up to get some Warframe goodies and they've never gone away after claiming despite not keeping the Prime sub.
