As a non dairy lad, is that what ye get paid, or is there extra depending on solids and things?

That is the base price, at 3.3%protein and 3.6% butterfat. If solids are higher it gets adjusted up, if lower it gets adjusted down.

Not for the first 6 months of the year, perhaps for the last few she the solids rise and volume drops

Looks like just over 2k tonnes of skim left in intervention. And price reported rising again.

What sort of calender are Glanbia operating on that they can call them dates Feb ffs?? That screws up my liquid bonus for feb totally not having more collections in Feb, and leaves me without a hope of getting the early lactation bonus.

Early lactation bonus is spring producer only
    Liquid don't get it
If you've sold your contract in the new glanbia scheme, you wont get it either until the transition period is over,so not until Jan 2021
Please take down that attachment though for your own sake
No one else posts the likes of that on a public forum!

How would this work out of it happened in Irish coops in a Cent’s per litre basis I wonder??

European milk processor to pay out all of its €290m profit to farmers following drought
    https://www.farmireland.ie/dairy/european-milk-processor-to-pay-out-all-of-its-290m-profit-to-farmers-following-drought-37834735.html

Or on reflection I assume it’s being paid as a dividend

Either way it’s a nice touch

Averages at 22,500 per farmer. No idea of their supply, but it could be up to 2c/l

Due to circumstances, namely Brexit, we’re only being offered a price just for the month of March.
    34.5cpl + vat for base 3.2p and 3.8bf.
1cpl to be deduced from all deliveries and given back later in the off season of July/Aug/Sept.

    Happy days.

I said I'd throw up the IFA market blog about milk prices and supply, there's a bit of reading in it.

Lakeland have held their price so no change this month, I'd say.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,431 ✭✭✭Mortelaro

Glanbia have dropped support to 0.5c meaning 31.5c for Feb
That's a drop of 0.5c in base price even with the cookie jar

That'll pay for the trading scheme from last month so...
You couldn't make this up

No chance of an increase, you get a drop of 0.5cpl for all your hard work. 30cpl base price plus 1 cpl interim market payment plus 0.5cpl of our own money. 31.5cpl
