    The figures for RTE ONE+1 and RTEjr are all-hour shares and not just for the hours each is broadcasting. You should be combining them rather than giving an average. The figure for both for the month would be 1.32% share.

    Being very very pemismistic about September and October

    RTÉ One 15% (I don't see it dropping below this)
    RTÉ2 5%
    TV3 10% (They seem to be relying on RWC, CBB and xFactor)
    UTV Ireland 5% (They have said no change to schedule in coming months)
    TG4 2%

    TV3 Next weeks sees no new Irish programming outside Red Rock, Sat and Sun AM

    If you remove Corrie, Emmerdale and The X Factor from that list, there are no TV3 or UTVi programmes in the listing. RTE 2 only make it because of GAA.

    Some home produced stuff in there from RTE 1, even one in Irish at 12.

    Funny to see The Simpsons getting a whopping 218,000 viewers on Saturday night on RTE2 (beating everything on TV3). Helped of course by the huge crowd for the Dublin match previously. James Bond did well too.

    TV3 will be glad to see Vincent Browne back this week. The Late Review hasn't done as well as VB, even though the studio and set up looks better to me, but I've just seen bits and pieces. They'll seriously miss The Cube and The Chase when it goes. The Cube has been on their Saturday night schedule continuously for the last 2 years it seems.

    Stand out rating for UTV Ireland - The Pulse! Although, I'm not quite sure if we can count a 90 second show in ratings - but medialive have it in there anyway with 106,000 viewers.

    I have seen figures for Two Tubes but never on medialive, can remember what they were.

    Though strange considering the low levels for Ireland Live and that The Chase on Friday doesn't appear.

    In comparison to the FAI Cup on Friday night - it got 4 times the viewers. :eek: Apres Match Of the Day did very well - and I'm just surprised it has taken them about 20 years for them to get their own mini-series.

    Quarter-final, but with Dundalk the leading LoI team at present, a casual audience might have been expected.

    Take Me Out did very well on Friday in it's earlier series, but apart from that and The Dunphy Show - TV3 never delved too much into producing programmes up against TLLS.
    But looking back at last September on TV3 on Mon & Friday nights, they had Darndale (169,000), Dublin's Gangland (168), The Hangover (118) coming after Corrie which was only rating average of 284,000 which is 100,000 lower than what UTVi have at the moment. Similar for October - Doctor In The House (175), Darndale (181), X Factor (179), Shawshank Redemption (139), Next three Days (121).
    Granted none of them grew more than the edition of Corrie before it, but they aren't losing as much viewers than UTVi does after those Corrie editions.

    Even for weekend games it bring TV3 back to about 10% share for that week, interesting to see how Sept will work out for the channel.

    Presumably, TV3 only have TAMs crunched as far as Saturday yet, as you say, no Sunday figures, but would assume 300k averages for the post-All Ireland games.

    Interesting to see Champions League coverage on TV3 increase its audience.
    Red Rock saw no increase with just 84,000 viewers for one episode and the other not in the top 20.
    No really change with the rest, but it just the first weekend, RWC's midweek coverage begins tonight and continues for 3 weeks when the semi finals and finals go to weekend only.

    Also did UTV Ireland air ITV2 behind the scenes programme?

    Saturday AM averaging 28,000 and highest was 34,000

    Sunday AM averaged 41,000 and highest was 55,000

    TWIP had similar figures for 11:30 and 12 start times, though no mention of its late night audience. Sunday AM had higher numbers.

    Late night audience approx 54600 this of course doesn't include showings on News Now
