any word on Phever and Trax coming back to FM? They are working fine on tunein (Alexa). Just nothing on FM in the car.

    It’s strange alright

Hot FM’s stream quality is pretty inferior

Yes it's shi*e. Should really give up at this stage and call it a day.

My car radio will never be the same without Trax and Phever. Still online, thankfully all is not lost.

Just heard Phever on 94.3 poor signal and barely audible on the south side of Dublin definitely not coming from the hills

Hot FM’s main stream is silent ATM
    Edit: audio returned at 5:46pm

Yes, I posted that on a thread in the Hobby Radio forum. But the transmitter is listed as only 250 watts, and I have heard it very strong in Dundalk, and on the SDR's in Ireland. The 250 watts must be a mistake, but I don't see why they would use high power to cover their target area.

Most nights, the hams on topband are easily picked up here with their 100W to 400W. One or two are in the same general area as Carillon Radio, it will be interesting to see if propagation is the same.

Some pictures of an earlier, 'low cost' looking installation of this station Flame 1521kHz before they moved to a better location :

Fresh FM Dublin back on 99.5 (was 99.4). Playing its own audio as opposed to the Dance One relay.
