Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

No impound in Bray, think it's Irishtown, Shankill, and Finglas that they have the impounds in?

They used to keep them at the side of the cop shop. Must have changed.

If this is true the girl is probably looking at a 2 year ban for no insurance, 3 years for drink driving and a couple of grand in fines. (Not sure if bans would run concurrently or consecutively). The part that's making me lean towards this being true is the "no lights" part. You'd be amazed at the number of drink drivers who get caught for drink driving simply because they forgot to turn on the lights. On it's own, driving without lights would be seen by a garda as a pretty minor offence which can happen to the best of us in well lit up areas, so it seems a little odd that if the op was making this up he would think to include it in a list of far more serious offences.

If she goes to court wearing her best tracksuit and offers to pay 3 euros a month then it will be grand.

Forget the offence of no Insurance or the stupidity of driving whilst drunk its the driving with no lights (or one light) which is the worst offence of all........bloody ejits never using their lights......its a disgrace Joe.......:pac:

All dues to the OP it is a good story.

Worst case scenario: she's charged with all those offences.

Best case: she's charged with none of them.

Middle case: she's charged with some, and not others.

That was tough to work out.

Cars impounded in Bray go to Kelly's in Kilmacanogue. Did this happen Sunday night?

Your 'friend' needs to report the driver for stealing his car or he might face a charge of allowing an uninsured driver use his vehicle.

Oh wait, sure you say he has already admitted that crime already by giving her driving lessons in the past
