Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I’m also in the leaba. Electric blankey, unicorn jammies, hot water bottle. Going to try some meditation later, that’ll go well I’ve the attention span of a frog in a blender

In bed and just catching up on the thread now.....
It's a good group here... A wide age spectrum...teens to 80... male, female, conservative, progressive, gay, straight, somewhere in between....some of us push boundaries ;) and some like to stay in their comfort zone...
We show genuine concern for the members who are in need...we wince when people crush their nuts, we roll our eyes when people share too much, we applaud good news and commiserate when bad news arrives...
All in all...this is my favourite group in here...and the only reason I keep coming back... without you little bunch of lunatics, I'd be long gone ...sleep well

I love this post. We really are a big group of friends in here and it’s also one of the reasons I keep coming back.

I’m in the leaba, watching Netflix. Had a serious case of deja vù just now, so weird

Abed .... great things y'day and am without the worst of the pain at last. Also had a blood test start of November and y'day ( slow out here!) iron tablets arrived from the pharmacy. So things could be looking up soon healthwise. ALLELUIA!

So blessedly peaceful. They are grumbling on the weather forum but many of us llove the peace and stillness. Has been a wonderful winter so far.
And if bad weather comes now, at least we are through the dark months

Today? hmmmm... Box of yarn oddments arrived from Springwools!!! Like a flea in a nudist colony I am when a huge box arrives... working on baggy cabled legwarmers and need more of one colour than there is in the box... will search the bags I have here.... squirrel I am!

A bit of concealer or brightening cream for under the eye will help with that ng :)

I have a peachy toned one just for my eye bags, it just cancels out the black a bit!!

Home, waiting for the water to heat up so I can have a shower and start getting ready for my date with my dad tonight. Love spoiling him, he's been such a rock for me lately!

There's a lot of life revealed in and around people's eyes ng, but not all.
I'd say there's still a spark in there, and a wish from here that things get brighter.

I have used so many different brands down through the years and while they were all grand none lived up to the hype. At the minute I have a No7 under eye concealer that is like a pen with a brush at the end. Its just ok.
    What brand are you using?

Depends on what you needed covering P. I love tarte shape tape. If it’s pigmentation/red veins etc id use Mac select cover up or the P Louise rumour base. I also like the catrice one in the tube like lipgloss. Apply it with a small stippling brush.

If it’s discoloration you then need to try a concealer with a colour in it to counteract the colour you’re trying to disguise but to be honest concealer won’t conceal puffiness. The ordinary have a caffeinated serum that helps lighten discoloration and reduce puffiness. Tbh I’d be going that route instead of using a really heavy duty concealer around the delicate skin surrounding the eye.

If you’re looking for an insane coverage ( the smallest dot would cover so much) then I would recommend the Kevyn Aucoin sensual skin enhancer. You can mix it with a moisturizer for a medium coverage foundation. But that’s like if you want absolutely no imperfections showing.

I’m in work, thinking I buy way too much makeup

Deskside, trying to upload a syllabus and finalise reading lists on a very uncooperative Blackboard. I thought it was complicated until I read all Shoe's makeup advice - that, for me, is infinitely more confusing that teaching will ever be.
