Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I've to walk the dogs shortly and then a 13 mile run . Rain has now started in Tramore and thunder getting closer.

No need to mention the dogs.

Just say it's death and destruction. :pac:

Damn, it's going to pass by the time I get home but hopefully get some of it on the way home.

    It's a fast moving storm.

Lightning and heavy rain in Waterford City now

    Latest from Met Eireann.

    TODAY - SATURDAY 29TH JUNE
Thunderstorms will affect parts of the east and southeast this morning bringing sudden downpours, gusty winds and hail. Hazardous driving conditions are likely in areas affected. Largely dry elsewhere with hazy sunny spells developing and just isolated showers. Showers in the east clearing this afternoon with good sunny spells breaking through but further showers will push in to affect parts of the southwest and west. Another warm day with highest temperatures of 19 to 24 degrees in moderate southerly breezes.

Looks like the majority of it goes over Laois, Tipp Kilkenny etc with a small bit over my part of Carlow and maybe a bit over Dublin. But who knows it might get worse this direction.

Rain wise looks like not a lot at all east of Laois.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,918 ✭✭✭✭Kermit.de.frog

Cork may get in on the action here as well, and other areas inland

I stand corrected looks like Carlow will get a good bit but short lived, it's moving fast and there's not a lot in it.

Getting more intense as it moves north.
