Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Even though I’m home, my study abroad period technically doesn’t end till the 18th, and since my grant was paid today, I got the full amount of over €600 instead of the €260 I usually get :D:D

Will be sensible and stick a good chunk in savings though for getting to college in case work is quiet and I don’t get many hours

The sort of programme that the BBC does so well. RTE would probably put Brendan O'Carroll in the title role!

Interesting that you should say that, as Sorcha Cusack, who stars with Brendan O'Carroll in Mrs Brown's Boys, plays the housekeeper Mrs McCarthy in Father Brown

Friday night. It's my favourite night of the week.
Might do nothing, might do lots for the next two days but just knowing I have two days off to look forward to, makes me trivially happy.

She was in a couple of episodes of Mrs Brown, but she's not a regular in it.

May have gone a little (a lot) overboard and bought myself two pairs of cons today. It's been an expensive day but I love them and I'm basically wearing the same pair of shoes every day since I came back to Cork. I'm all excited to get them :D

Supporting others. Connecting with people. Feeding the seagulls on the way into town. Hugging a homeless man with 3 dogs who said one of the dogs saved his life. Human experiences with no malice just understanding. Being able to be yourself with someone - invaluable.

Made sweeter by him asking the ref, when hes only potted one ball, what the prize money is for a 147.

I let someone in the house today to do some work, girl dog(who is terminally Ill) was doing a very good impression of 'Im a lion and I will eat you for being in my house' as I shepherded the person into the needed area.
TH that even tho she is battling her illness, she's still well enough to scare humans ten times her size.
