Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Thinking about someone I shouldn't.

    Is it Marty Morrissey?

Same happens to me. He randomly enters my thoughts.

I think he has that affect on everyone, it could be the eye brows.

Rest assured, you are only human.

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,633 ✭✭✭✭Widdershins

Making a cake for my beloved :) He'll be with me in the morning after work :)

He gave me a new bracelet to replace one that was jealously smashed by someone. A Claddagh with a green agate heart. I've to Google which direction to point the heart...just giggling thinking if I go polyamorous I'd have loads of Claddagh bracelets facing up and down?

Tonight I'll be snug in bed listening to the pre-storm wind.

I don't know Marty. I am indeed and I have a lot of love to give :D
There is no harm in it so long as during time with OH, my attention is undivided.

At home on my arse. Spent a fortune on fancy pants skincare today but I don’t care. The lady in the salon was so complimentary to me, pure sales tactics I’m sure but I’m sitting here now thinking I missed my calling. I could have been the next Claudia Schiffer :pac: i even asked her was she for sale. I could do with her on the days I feel like a pig. Got all the niblings their presents today so I plan on avoiding town for the foreseeable. Chinese on the way and I’m gonna stuff every orifice I have. Starved.

I'm home,I dont know who's more shocked, me or my friends, I know I'm missing a great night but I just couldn't do 2 nights in a row, I'm so sick after last night. I did drive but had half a bottle of wine so will have to collect the car tomorrow, I'm genuinely done now with drink and food for the foreseeable, my stomach is in bits.

The eldest has all the buddies here, they just got 60e worth of pizzas and I can't even look at it...ya I'm a new Duvet Day,lettuce and water from now on,sick as a dog lol.

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,633 ✭✭✭✭Widdershins

I can't look at alcohol either. I'm not sure if it's due to added chemicals or that I have a small stomach but I just cannot hold drink. Unless it's something really special, I don't bother. I had one cider last night and struggled to finish It! I'd be wary of getting drunk even on a little drink as I have low tolerance for alcohol.

For a sick tummy, boiled sweets (Sula sugar free are nice), ginger, and rye crackers are helpful.

Youre never far from my mind, Seph ;)
I was hoping Duvet might share ;)

If only it WAS a nice man like you! Why must I be drawn to bad ones? *fiance excepted...

I can be bad when I want to be 😏

Need a tight hug to drive out the ants in my bloodstream. That's what restless legs or arms feel like. My better half is good at therapeutically squishing me with a leg or arm thrown over me in bed so he's hugging me even when he's asleep. He's a star 💗

    Night all.

A great day. An impromptu get together for neighbours in our house turned out great. Fantastic people, great kids. Wrecked now so hope I have Mr. Eleysian on a promise for breakfast in bed in the morning.

I just made a makeshift bedroom for my cat in the bathroom. It's so stormy outside so I felt she'd be cold and scared so she has a bed, food and water and a radiator at her back for the night.
I'm in bed now myself glad I'm inside listening to the wind and rain.
    Night peeps.

Bed having a cuppa before I go to sleep. Another late one at work although I don’t mind as much as I usually would because I could do with the money. Looking forward to sleep all the same

CH's Fun Fact..this evening we have the earliest sunset and it stops at this time for a couple of weeks, Sunrise will keep getting later until the 22nd but the days are only getting shorter from one end.

Trying to find the will to go out to a cafe and have the big breakfast that I deserve.
And to decide if said cafe will be a greasy spoon or somewhere a bit more elegant.

Just love showing up at a hotel at 3am only to be told that there is no reservation for me, so after showing the manager 4 emails and gave the name of the person who confirmed the reservation, I ended up in an apartment rather than a suite, so I lucked out.

Weather last was nasty, lots of thunderstorms and rain. I was surprised that the fight didn’t get washed out.

Nearly time for coffee number two, so heading kitchen side! I better leave it at just the two though, other wise the loopy headiness might settle in 🤪🤪

Back in bed after a good stroll with the dog. Not in good mood whatsoever. Some horrible c×*t made an extremely nasty little comment about me da (deceased, and unknown to them and the comment was in relation to the manner in which he died. The date is also very significant) I've a thick oul skin at the best of times but that little remark really cut me :(
I'll most likely stay in bed for half the day because of that. It's a lovely morning out all the same. Sorry for lowering the tone

It was obviously carefully crafted to cut you, Harry. If that's what he wants, don't give it to him.

This person is part of the population that wasn't born with 'jacobs'. If it were, said cnut would be nursing a sore jaw right about now. And yeah, carefully crafted to maximize impact.

Its Christmas decorations day in our house. The other two have gone out and so I have 30 mins to give my self a kick and get in a Christmasy mood.
Not sure how to do that as totally not feeling it.
    Mulled wine maybe?

Fireside for the rest of the day, provisions got from the local town, blazing fire going in the stove, few bets done on the horses, settled in for the day looking out at what has the makings of a horrible day of wind and rain out there.
