Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

300ml bottles are a rip off. A lot of those offers were originally for 330ml bottles but the supermarkets have cottoned on to the fact that they can sell 300ml bottles for the same price as 330ml bottles without shoppers realising it.

300ml bottles have always been sold by the supermarkets - its to prevent the publicans buying in bulk from their local Tesco and then reselling it at 500% markup.

300ml bottles are a rip off if you pay a rip off price. This is a Bargain Alert thread designed to help you avoid paying a rip off price.

Spotted that myself, at least regarding the boxes of bottes, oh well yet another reason to not even bother entering a tesco.
Super value have the box of 20 bottles for 19 euro and 8 cans for 13 euro, not sure if cheaper in Dunne's or not

Ignoring idiots who comment "far right" because they don't even know what it means

Pretty sure they're not. No sign of them on the website anyway. Dunnes have a similar offer with better (IMHO) selection at the moment until April 7th though.
