Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

also I note in local tesco none out on the shelves asked and younglad went off and found them in the very back of the store. staff holding for themselves crossed my mind.
BYTW notice that on the box of each glass it says that they are free with multipack purchases

Checked the box glass came in, no reference to being free on it. Made in France 3154/20 printed on box base.

Are those nucleated glasses not just for beer/lager?
Never noticed it in Guinness glasses.

Are they doing Sunday post? Still waiting on ours here....

    Yeah mine came Sunday morning.

I can get 4 litre bottles of Bacardi for €75 with the big voucher so just €18.75 a pop. That with what I have in stock will see me through Christmas and the next couple of lockdowns! I would normally use the vouchers to get slabs of beer including Guinness but I think I'll stick to the Bacardi and Hennessys this year.

Lidl have the 4xx ml :D guinness slab of 24 for €20

Interesting that they have a sticker telling you how to pour it.

"open and pour immediately into a glass"

Did as they said and got a decent head on it.

    @82c a can, I'm happy.

Tesco 25% off 6 bottles of wine/champagne started today

    Availed of this- instore.
It’s a good deal as applies to all wines, Prosecco, Champagne, and even Ports. So not restricted to 6 specific wines, like those deals for 6 bottles for €40 or €50 deals.

In Tesco the CVNE Gran Reserva is excellent value at 11.25 if you include it in your 6..

Not listed online, but Tesco (Mahon Point at least) are doing boxes of 15 x 500ml Orchard Thieves for €14 each - cheaper per can than the Bulmers slabs at €24 (and those are 440ml). Rare enough to see a decent Orchard Thieves deal.

Edit: they're actually 440ml but still a great deal.

My local Centra has 2 x 12 pack 500ml Guinness for 25 euro.I assume same offer will be in all their stores.

I know we all prefer the 500ml Guinness :D

check the website and its 12 for 15eur

Anybody know how long the Dunnes offer of €24 for 24 cans of bulmers, Heineken, possibly Guinness lasts? Saw them there at weekend when getting my €10 off voucher and wasn't to go back to them to use voucher, not sure if they are still valid at weekend, when I'd ideally go rather than in the next couple of evenings. Nothing about the offer online

The offer ended yesterday it seems according to the bottom of the instore sign, but we took the chance and 24 X 440ml Bulmers still got the discount rate, non discount rate was €29.51 so wasn't too much to lose when we were getting a tenner off the shop anyway.

Might be a shop specific offer so, I seen them in my local centra when I was in there at lunchtime, I shall be back to grab a few this evening.

Ya just googled it there, also said they have no plans to open any there either, kind of strange cause Lidl is up there. Wonder why they won’t open up there?

Same reason there's no Morrisons I would guess. The economics just don't stack up.

Lidl got there first. Lidl is in other countries where there's no Aldi and vice versa. Lidl NI is a subsidiary of Lidl Ireland and Lidl Ireland expanded much faster in the early years compared to Aldi Ireland.

With a mix of both GB and ROI supermarkets, the sector in NI is pretty saturated.

One litre of smirnoff or Gordons for 20 is a great price. We are down to 14 quid a standard bottle at that price.

The 25 percent off will still be allowable under new legislations? Even with mup it's above the threshold for this deal.
