Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Went to eir shop to get a sim card. Had to top up by €10. Rang a few people then headed to the vodafone shop in Mullingar and got the a21s in white for €39.99 and €20 top up. All this done today. If the website is not working and you like and need a phone try the shop. I rang them first to confirm stock.

twitter update after sending order number, offer page, bank statement and account details ---they are going to request a refund in 2 days once my account is setup...

100% this is a thing. I've recommended to several people to order Eir sim cards in the past week and none of them have been received.

I ordered 2 and they took 5 days to arrive, seemingly the post is way behind with deliveries.
I got a mail on 21st by An Post to say something was due to be delivered to me
and I'm still waiting 5 days later as it didn't arrive in the post today.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 128GB Storage PAYG switcher offer.

    @ €209.99 w/ €100 off when switching to vodafone.

    Total: €109.99

Not sure how much ram it comes with.

This is the best offer I have seen so far for this phone. Comes with charger and a silicon case afaik.

4 GB RAM...only advantage over Sammy is 1 GB RAM and 98 GB storage and the screen ! is it worth extra 70 eur tho ?

I think not and hence A21S is still a better value deal !

Picked up an Eir SIM in Eir shop (10 euro top up required) and the A21s in Carphone Warehouse (20 euro top up required) so 70 all in. I'm sure I know people who will want the top ups so not really worried - have a budget of 80 quid for a kris kindle present and this is perfect. Within budget and not a piece of crap for a person who needs a new phone. I'll get that 8 euro case linked earlier in the thread here and I'm done.

Thanks to all for the info.

I've had several orders cancelled now so will head to VF shop or carphone warehouse.

Both of them make you buy €20 credit?

Vodafone don't take cash but if you argue with them ( might take an hour lol ) they will forfeit the top-up.

Just tell them about the vodafone.ie offer where no top-up is required.... I did this successfully last year.

Or try, "I'm buying it as a present for one of my kids and the oh is buying the credit and a cover to get them up and running so we can each give them something?".

Maybe fixed some of it but I can't add card details to pay, you'd think that would be the part they'd make sure was working.

I tried to buy there and the site said it couldnt process the card details but my bank text me to see if it was fraud on my credit card and said there was a hold on my card. Tried to register an account with vodafone to see if the order was put through but the security token mail never came. So messy.
