Six lists down. Trying not to be too harsh, but decided any score would be split into the radio test - if it came on the radio would I continue listen (5) or turn off / switch over(0).

Nice to hear some songs I wouldn't normally listen to, and also some artist I forgot to include in my own submissions (Lisa Loeb and Bjork off the more recent ones - hopefully someone included 'Venus as a boy').

    No Mariah Carey yet?

    Scores so far:

    Score Count
    0 7
    5 24
    10 13
    12 39
    14 29
    15 1
    16 20
    18 13
    20 7
I think Aoife Ní Fhearraigh's "The Best Is Yet to Come" is my favourite nomination thus far that I had never heard before, so thanks to whoever nominated that! :)

Thank you to whoever nominated Eimear Quinn - Ireland's finest ever Eurovision entry imo.

Was blown away first time I heard Best is Yet To Come - both the song and the fact here was a song in Irish on a video game from Japan. Been a favourite ever since.

You'll not know for sure until you enter the greatest act of the 90s. :)

Well, the 80s comp didn't do much for my musical taste confidence. ;)

Round 5 not great for me. Average 11.7

    1 x 6/20
    3 x 16/20

    Everything else somewhere in between.

Good God the Bangles were so hot

They were sexy without prancing around in their underwear and shaking their asses like the current crop.

This was one of my highest scoring rounds (6) - I did have two entries in it - but Mazzy Star was another lovely surprise for me and I also gave top points to I think possibly the winner (had forgotten all about that track) Only a couple of zero's and although I really like Pink Floyd that's not a Greatest female performance (or at least it's a stretch to say it is) but I couldn't give them zero.

I grew up in the 80's (and 70's) and I always thought most of the popular music was crap. :o

Have to agree, couldn't justify this bring a great female performance!

    Part 7

I could not find 3 of the songs on Spotify. They are underlined and in bold and can be heard on YouTube playlist. Perhaps ShaneU can find them on GooglePlay?

A question about All Tomorrows Parties. Did the user who nominated it, specifically choose that live performance? It's just that I had initially assumed that it was going to be the original Velvet Underground version.
