    One of those songs was my submission, and I strongly considered the other song too (along with about ten other Beach House songs) but made myself stick to just one song from each artist.

    Beach House are probably my most listened to band over the past couple of years, they are fantastic "mood music".

    Teen Dream, Depression Cherry and 7 are my favourite albums by them, but really they don't have any bad ones so definitely do check them all out.

    This is precisely the reason why I wanted to go with a points scoring system. If it were head to head against a song you knew, the song you didn’t know would not get a look in. The head to heads are get your vote in as quick as possible rounds with a reason of “ive never heard of the other song”

    Playlist 6 actually has the highest average score for me thus far! :o (unofficially, of course!)

    Playlist 4 has the most 20/20 scores from me (four) but also a lot of ones clustered in the 10-12 range, whereas Playlist 6 has a lot more in the 12-14 range.

    Agreed. Haven't gotten all the way through yet but already I can tell it's probably gonna be my highest scoring group thus far, and that's with one zero (which is only a zero because it's another case of "I like the song but not enough female vocals").

    Future rounds of this competition are gonna be an absolute bloodbath. :( I'm just gonna enjoy these qualifying rounds and not think about the horrible decisions ahead just yet.

    I think Strawbs said she got around 350 songs, so there will probably be 13 or 14 goups I'd say.
