    Something similar had occurred to me - there's a distinct absence of devils advocates or people rushing to condemn the accused tonight for some reason. Not a good thing for us I think

    Who even are the "accused" tonight? There's a wide spread in FFAs, and no consensus about who is going up, is there?

    That's what I think too. There's no clear lynchee tonight, hence nobody really rushing to defend themselves. Except Des who seems resigned to the fate should it happen. But I wouldn't even be sure it will be him.

    I went with 'Save Tegan' earlier to stop either of us getting dragged into a battle or anyone having to reveal anything over this poison business. That's not to say that there is anything to reveal, but I think it was a good idea to not get the village caught up in a war or tunnel over the poison thing today. Let's make it as minimal an asset to Team Sauron as we possibly can.

    If this is it, farewell and ride on to victory village.

    Abigail WW had been found guilty of being evil by public vote. Determined to make a last attempt to prove their innocence, they dressed in full battle armour, mounted their horse and rode to the village square.

    It doesn't say in the OP that he can't protect himself. Maybe he'd protected himself but didn't realise it didn't work against poison??

    Or was taking the chance he was fake poisoned? Trying not to force Tegan to reveal, and if he did survive, he hadn't outed himself?

    I'm not saying he did. I'm saying maybe he thought it did which is why he thought he was safe from the poison. It's just a theory as letting himself be killed and even requesting Tegan be the one saved, seemed like an odd thing for an important rolled villager to do.
