I know this is short notice, but a Buddy of mine got a ticket from work for the Belgium game. But the match is happening on the same day as his wedding. So if anyone wants to take his place her name is Rachel and the church is Donnybrook at 3pm.

Anything less than a semi final for Ireland, this is the homecoming they will deserve.

€50 deposited into the Paddy Power account.

    €10 on France @ 3/1, and 50c E/W on Wales at 80/1

Also have an accum to predict the top 2 teams in any order in each group. €1 bet with a €331 return.

Any other suggestions for the tournament. Thinking a Euro or two each day on an accum maybe, for the first round anyway.

50c each way? Don't hold back there, Mr Vegas.

Northern Ireland all the way. I hope Wales do good in the tournament too. And I hope England enjoy the weather.

If we get through to the second round we dont have much of a turnaround from our last group game (Wed 22 June) unless we finish 2nd or 1st

Finish as one of the third best teams-
    Winner of Grp D vs 3rd B/E/F-Sat 25th June Lens 20.00pm
    or
Winner of Grp A vs 3rd C/D/E-Sun 26th June Lyon 2pm (GAA will do there nut if this was to happen)

    Finish 2nd in our group

Winner Grp F vs Runner Up Grp E- Sun 26 June- Toulouse 20.00pm

    Finish 1st in our group

Winner Grp E vs Runner up Grp D- Mon 27th June- SDF 17.00pm

I think we'll do quite well.

Once Paul McGrath's knees hold up, we'll be grand.

Looking forward to the 'lovely stadium girls' compettion too, Russia always have a serious squad in for that

Same here , I always enjoy the "chair throwing event " , Engerland always does well in and the "shouting at police " competition too.

Wales. After England and Ireland, or Ireland and England.

I was going to have Norn Iron as a 'second' team, but seeing as how they are all still a bunch of bitter hate filled ba**ards, I'm kind of hoping they get laughed out of the tournament (laughed out more than us of course).

So in terms of teams I'm interested in seeing their games, Wales get the nod in 2nd place, followed by Hungary/Iceland in 3rd/4th.

honourable mention of course to England and the "we were the best team why didn't we win" sh1tstorm that will no doubt be kicked up when it all goes Pete Tong for them.

The problem with England is they just want to walk it in.

I'm the worst kind of bandwaggoner when it comes to the Euros and the WC, I absolutely love when they're on, even though I am only ever faintly conscious of the club game, something about the atmosphere at these things is fantastic fun. Over the last ten years I've been lucky enough to be in really great foreign countries while they're on that have a big international contingent around, like Prague in 2010, where they played the matches on a big screen in the main square and people from the countries involved would come out of the woodwork in their droves and there was lots of cheap beer on sale nearby.

Ireland being in it makes it so much better of course, but just in general these tournaments create a fantastic atmosphere. I Love the first round in particular, when all the countries are coming in with a festive atmosphere and a feeling that anything is possible. I'm desperately jealous of people who are getting to go to it.

As for the tournament itself, not a clue who will win it, couldn't give a toss really. Will be supporting Ireland and Hungary (lived there once upon a time, loved the miserable shower of baxtards!) and like many others, getting a tremendous kick out of watching England implode again and then the ritual scapegoating of one person instead of recognising that they possibly overhyped themselves. It's the joke that never gets old.

Yeah lets hope the TV cameramen are spend ample time picking out lovely girls of all nationalities. Watching the last World Cup was like a cock tease when a player got injured for a few minutes. More of the same please.

Four Beers deep here. Will need every drop to watch the generic lame before show choreographed dancing routine whilst George Hamilton describes every bit of it in fake amazement

Can't see Ireland getting out of the group, maybe two draws at best for us. We have a pretty decent record against Italy so hopefully will hold them. Sweden is a huge game, if we can avoid a loss it might give the team some confidence going into the next two.

I've a good feeling about France, they've a very good looking team, griezman to be player of the tournament. Hope Wales do well, have a great chance to get out of their group

It looks like some English fans hit it earlier than you, so not officially the first beer of the tournament.

He is playing a live set

So a pre recorded set with him dancing, occasionally pretending to turn a knob on the mixer and randomly touching a headphone cup on his ear.

    No thanks.

Do they still play with the association football and it is spherical in shape? If so, Spain to win.
