Best free app for tracking distance

    Im after changing my phone and the preloaded app to tell you how far you walked is waaay off.
    I did in or about 10km yesterday and it said I did 4. Does anyone know of a more accurate free app? Yes, I'm a cheap bastard

    It'd be forestry and mountain walks. It wouldn't have to be anything fancy so long as it can give a hallway accurate reading

    You could try Alpine Quest as well. It's an android app. I've never used it but I've heard friends mention it for hiking and the like.
