    Maybe not, but, judging by the crowd reaction, most were very pleased to see him on stage. At least he doesn't go around advertising a UK clothing chain.

    I get a "who will rid me of this troublesome priest" feeling from this. Maybe he made some comment on the view, them someone else took it on themselves to move the people. Doesn't mean he ordered it. When people take you too seriously, sometimes a wish can be interepreted as a request.

    You used the word 'apparently' which indicates you don't know the story and none of use do so no one here is qualified to comment.
