May I suggest a nice cold glass of coke? Or perhaps a non alcoholic beer? :)

    Sounds delicious.

I would like to attend depending on when it is and if I'm back in the country at the time. I voted for the real capital....Dublin of course :pac:

There's an image. I'd have to pretend my eyeballs were scratch cards, and then pour petrol on them. :pac:

If I could lose 3 stone it would fit me perfectly. But even without losing the weight I can squeeze in to it....just about. A joy to see.

Plenty of baby oil, you'd shimmy into it no problem

The last beers ended up being mostly just the mods, hopefully this one is more successful :pac:

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

Baby oil is counter productive in this situation. Talc would be a better lubricant for pvc. But for God's sake not both. Gets very messy. :)

When I put the dates up I'd say the number will dwindle. Those 100 are split between three counties. My estimate is it will be half the figure of the winning location.

It will have to be a decent size and fairly middle of the road. In Dub Messrs, Whelans, Mercantile, those type of places.

A pub tends to be the venue of choice.

The Duke was the last one, before that I think it was Sweetmans (Messsrs). It's good to let them know in advance to set aside some space for the nerd herd.

Should be in shorts/sinnotts in the unlikely event it ever gets to waterford

Wherever the venue, make sure to wear nametags to identify yourselves. As a once regular user of Twitter, 'Tweetups' were often organised. Two I was at were held in McGrattan's (off Baggot Street). A decent sized area was booked. Though, a good few turned up at these. All the users that attended were given nametags by the organiser. Good craic from memory :) I'd imagine a Boards meet up to be somewhat similar. Of course, these things are always a good way to meet new people. Though, the only difference is that faces were recognised at Tweetups, due to the fact that they'd have their photos on their profiles.
