Sunderland forums saying this is the team tomorrow:
    Pickford
    Yedlin, Kone, O'Shea, Robson,
    Larsson, Rodwell
    Watmore Lens Greenwood
    N'Doye

I may have to be sensible with my transfer so and do smith to Gabriel just in case Fuchs is rested along with PVA

    That would be beautiful.
    Deeney and Ighalo.

Boards must have some of the toughest leagues in the world.
I have broken into the top 5k in the world but still find myself languishing in 12th in The boards pay league and 9th in the FSA qualifying league :o

I somehow managed to misclick my TC chip last week as Payet ended up being normal captain. I still have no idea how that happened, I distinctly remember activating the TC ship.

Anyhow; maybe this is an opportunity in disguise; Is Sanchez (TC) the only sensible option?

    This is now majorly annoying.
If the TC chip on payet in GW 37 had gone through as planned I'd now be sitting 2nd in the boards pay league and FSA qualifying league. As it stands I am 9th/6th. Still a small chance of a paid finish in the Pay league if martial runs riot in the rearranged fixture but not looking likely :(

Feel a bit for the guy technically tied for first overall if Barkley or Lennon didn't get their run out he would be in a great position to win it with Antonio on the bench now he has to hope Daniels outscores Smalling and Rashford by 2 points. Going to be a nervy wait for the line ups for the two of them don't think anyone would be that surprised if they both missed out with Saturday being so close.

    By my reckoning it's:
    1st: Smalling + Rashford +1 v
    2nd: Daniels v
    3rd: DeGea -7

    Squeaky bum time.

1st has is +2 for Morgan off the bench.

Calculated that in, 2nd has Cresswell(+1) in for Moreno.

Just realised it should be like this:

    1st: Smalling + Rashford +1 v
    2nd: Daniels(Or Antonio's +7), if Daniels doesn't play(highly unlikely) v
    3rd: DeGea -7

Good point hadn't even considered that! Even more drama to the teamsheet!

Hey guys, just wondering where most of you enter your money leagues? I've had two top 10k finishes now in a row and I've seen many on here with similar finishes coming into a lot of cash! The only money league I've entered is the Boards Pay league which is obviously very difficult to get prize money from. I've a couple of private leagues (friends, work colleagues) but they're mainly casual players so you wouldn't get many of them to part with cash.

There's normally a good few posted here and the other forums before the season starts. Think I was in 3 or 4 boards ones this year.

I will likely run a Classic league next season with 15 entrants.

A few run them here but if you are looking for "soft" leagues Boards is the wrong place to look!.

Right. The 9 of us still loitering around here to thank that post might want to think about weaning ourselves off the FSA at this stage. :)

Be interesting to see if it catches out those pesky casuals! I can just imagine people sitting in the pub and as the game kicks off thinking ahhh bugger I forgot to change my captain from injured Aguero who then comes off the bench with ten minutes to go and scores a hatty while hobbling around on one leg and we all go Sanchez home to Burnley who then misses a penalty. Not that I am negative or anything!

I'd miss the craic in here more so than the game itself, it's the only forum on Boards I actively post in.

I'm actually glad of the break for a while. At a communion tomorrow and I won't be worried about checking scores.

I woke up this morning in blind panic. I hadn't made any changes to my team....

Oh yeah massively glad of the break. Just the force of habit of checking here several times a day for new posts that's not quite worn off yet.

Like one of those leaving cert dreams? 18 years later and I still wake up about once a year with a feeling of dread in my stomach because of my impending history exam.

(Which is odd considering I didn't even take history as a subject in the LC)

That's definitely a huge part of it, had to go to a communion today and goddaughters birthday later on, and I'm sure I'll still have a look on here later as much out of habit as anything else

After finishes of 352nd and 102nd in the last two seasons I've been thinking about starting some kind of fantasy football blog for next season but have no idea where to start. Maybe not even a blog but even to contribute to an existing website or something. Has anyone here ever done anything like that? I wouldn't want to come across as some kind of know it all giving out tips rather just to give others an insight into my own team and rationale for transfers ect. This is something I have just started to think about in the past few days and I may end up doing nothing but I thought I'd ask on here to get some valued opinions

I can't advise on the mechanism for a blog, but Id be genuinely interested in a thread to ask the likes of you and ElTel and others in the top 1000 or so for what you look for when picking a team / selecting transfers. If its a blog instead of a thread, I'll read it either way.

My highest finish has been in the top 5k, so I'd be interested in reading up on anything that might improve my game. Well, not now, I might give myself a few weeks off FPL.

Just realised with Mourinho taking over United now.....we're all going back to our yearly Gameweek 1 Rooney captain aren't we?
