    My back seven is
    Mannone hennessey
    Morgan daniels kone pva Cresswell.

I'm thinking if I only make 1 transfer I'd be better off bringing in a keeper as I should definetly have 3 defenders start. I could get ddg and play
Ddg kone pva Cresswell which is probably better than Mannone monreal pva Cresswell when you consider that Mannone may not start.

Can you be sure that Kone and PVA will both start?

Anyone considering waiting for team news before deadline, then making transfers?

Atleast if they don't start I'd have Morgan and daniels to sub in whereas if Mannone doesn't I'll only have 10. I'll be at the top of a church at a christening at 2 so can't go down the team news route.

That's a bit of a dilemma, if you had a substantial lead, a replacement keeper would be a no brainer, but as your lead is slim, it's a coin toss really.

I'd say Brown and O'Shea will start but only Big Sam knows for sure.

Try spinning it and say to yourself would 2 outfield transfers for a hit and no keeper get more points. As a FT only it has to be done if Manone is rested. My head hurts thinking through scenarios. Hope for no clean sheets for Arsenal and United!!

I'd say that Pickford is nailed on to start if Allardyce is indeed gonna play the kids. The game is pretty meaningless so it makes for an ample opportunity to blood some youngsters.

Ah that's annoying :( Sensible either him or Aguero i'd say. Riskier options Tadic, Giroud, Vardy, Mane

    Ah sorry lads!
As it stands I have 1FT, 1.1m in the bank and this:

Nicely set up tbf. PVA unlikely to start so you may end up with Simpson in there

Pickford (GK), Robson (LB), Greenwood (RW), Maja (ST) and Honeyman (CM) have all been training with the Sunderland first team for the last while and will have a good chance of playing. Pickford definitely will. Allardyce will probably also give Wes Brown a game for his farewell.

While I have you. I have Mannone kone and pva. Could you give me a % chance on each of them starting.

    Mannone - 0%
    Kone - 10%
    PVA - 25%

I think we will go something like:

    Pickford
    Jones O'Shea Brown Robson
    Cattermole
    Honeyman Larsson
    Watmore
    Greenwood
    Defoe

That's extremely worrying I was thinking Mannone wouldn't start but expected one of kone or pva to. I knew jos would I actually forgot wes brown existed.

Yeah, I'm not sure what to change in the front 7 except maybe Carroll to Long (that could easily come back to bite me though!!).
I might just do PVA to VVD as a punt; just reading about big Sam's comments about bringing in the youth players and VVD might be worth a goal.

With Mannone out for almost certain then I'm starting to think i might take the hit but not get DDG. My opponent has DDG and Smalling. Even if I match DDG a United clean sheet still kills me.

What might make sense is to go for maybe Forster. Same risk (i.e. that Forster concedes and it costs me 2 points nett) but potentially more reward if Forster gets a clean sheet and United concede. Still only 2 or 3 points nett gain but could be important if United concede. Whereas going for DDG is essentially lose/lose.

    Logical??

On second thought I'm being far too negative on Kone considering Wes Brown hasn't played a minute of football since the end of January, but there is young Tom Beadling there too who has impressed for the 21's.

How about Cech, good chance of cleanie against villa.

Ah damn. Have no keepers again so.

Can't I play AOA 3-5-3 with no keepers :P? Jeez these chips have really been so useless! For once that I need one I can't use it. Ah.

So. Mannonce/Robles, Townsend, Defoe and Carroll. 1 or 2 to ditch... I'm now tempted to sell Defoe more than Carroll with that Sunderland line-up... Maybe a Saints striker. Long? Is he nailed? Southampton are still fighting for a Europa League finish right?

    I think it's sound reasoning.
Try competing against double Arsenal and double United with one of each!

    Perhaps I should get Giroud.

How likely is Iheanacho to start on Sunday?
Or will it be all laid out for Aguero to try win the golden boot?

He has DDG, Smalling, Koscielny and Bellerin.

    I have Bellerin. :(

2 Arsenal already and 100% getting Giroud.

It's not just that, they can draw Sunday. They just need to not lose. That creates its own dangers.

Lads apologies for being off topic, but the WBA,Southampton,Watford treble is about 13/2 for anyone that fancies a flutter.

Not having Premier League games on a Saturday is painful. Thank Christ we only have a little over 3 weeks between things finishing up tomorrow and the Euros.

Was just thinking about next season with the Friday evening games
Late Friday night / early sat morning listening to FFS podcast and reading through articles has been a ritual of mine and the most enjoyable part
Rushing home after work on a Friday evening to fine tune team won't be fun

Will the Friday night Premier League games replace Friday night Championship games?

There won't be a Friday match every week, think it's 10 per season

Friday night games will be great IMO. I love the Friday night Championship games. Getting home from work and putting the feet up/going out for a few beers and watching a Premier League game is a great way to start the weekend. :D

Least the play offs are on, they offer up some of the most exciting games of the season, the game last year between Swindon and Sheff Utd that finished 5-5 was nuts
