I like cackle gang. Should be in wider useage.
    I think I'm gonna appropriate it:D

It does remind me of this, which is no bad thing:

Its not even that, anyone is free to date whomever they please.
Its this snide swipes at women's appearance and looks(and generally Irish/Uk women)that have the cackle gang cackling ;)

If the "fake orgasm" and "real man" comments weren't added in his statement, people probably wouldn't have taken umbrage to it, probably.

Well the OP has previously admitted he has a somewhat conservative take on life. So I wasn't necessarily surprised by any of the posts but if someone sticks their hand in the fire they will get burned...by all us maaad banshees :D

That's the point. The OP has form for adding in a few extra details and it's THOSE he gets burned on. If he just posted his casual observations in a neutral way he might not get the heat thrown at him. Just saying.

It's getting pretty slim pickings for reading around AH when this thread seems like the only alternative worth reading to the have you ever shat yourself thread... :pac:

No fear of this thread becoming flirty anyway... :D

Up until that point the replies had been fairly serious. You expect women not to pull the piss when faced with this? If you dish it out you'd better expect to get it back.

Personally I think anyone that uses rolleyes in their posts deserves to be mocked in reply. Double rolleyes? You better believe they deserve it.

His post touched a nerve as there was an element of truth to it. The reaction was a bit over the top though.

On the subject of make up i quite like women with make up on. Plastic surgery like fake arses, blown up lips, botox etc i think is a bit of a fraud.

Are you fooled into thinking your girlfriend has a better arse than she actually does?
Are you stressed out not being able to read her expressionless face?
Girlfriend not smiling at your jokes?
You've been frauded! Better call Saul!

That would be pretty important to me yeah

And you are perfectly entitled to date a woman who doesn't use make up/botox/fake lips/fake butts(really??, have never seen or known an Irish woman to have one).
Just don't complain about her "no-frills" attitude 2 years into the relationship under the guise of "God, she has let herself go".

I know very very few women blessed enough to have perfect skin etc to go without makeup as standard(and again as another poster said, I don't wear it everyday myself either but for work/outings etc I would)

Haha a friend of mine met her fella on plenty of fish. He swears blind he's 6 foot but when I wear heels, I'm towering over him, so he's no more than 5'8. But he insists he is.

Heh, yeah guys seem to regularly wrong about their height. I'm 6'1" and the amount of times I'll hear guys claiming to be 6 foot and me standing beside them with a raised eyebrow thinking "I've obviously grown a few inches".

Sure I'm guilty myself, I used to say I was 6'2" and not as an intentional lie. I just always thought I was 6'2" and only found out I was wrong when someone measured me at a barbecue.

That must have been a boring barbecue.

At least if someone's had plastic surgery you're pretty much getting what you expect. Unfortunately there's a lot of girls, usually young ones, who use make-up and clothing to really mislead! Spanx, ass lifting jeans, wonder bra, contouring on their chest and face, fake eyelashes, lip plumping lipstick, hair extensions, tan... It's almost the equivalent of lads going out wearing a fake beard, fake sleeve tattoos, a tummy sucking vest under their tops and a banana in their boxers!

    Completely agree.

A lot of it can be unbelievably misleading and deceptive!

Sheesh, it's like two polar opposites going on; either pinched and preened to the nines tottering on hooker heels or Frump in sweatpants. God forbid there's a happy medium.

There absolutely is a happy medium.
But it seems that ANY of the things that women do(have a look at smashs post just above)are trickery of the male species.
    Push up bras?
    Make up?
    Lipstick?
    Tan?
    Holdy-inny knickers?
I mean c'mon, show me a woman who hasn't used at least one of these on more than one occasion and I'll show you a liar :D
It no more makes a woman who uses any of these things the resemblance of a hooker.

Also shaving our legs. God forbid any man might find out that we grow hair on our legs. We need to keep up our cunning ruse.

(They're still in the dark about armpit hair, right? I think we're getting away with that one)

I think you're grand with the armpit thing.....it's your ronnie that's giving the game away :D

I was only descriptively and exclusively referring to the excessively high heels that seem to be more in vogue. Though that's a personal thing with me. Could never see the gig with very high heels myself. It smacks of foot binding to me and looks awkward and daft. Like drunken baby gazelles staggering up the street. Again to me. As for the rest, again for me lippie/eyeliner/hair dye would be about my limit on the attractiveness front. Push up bras would be akin to me wearing similar to give the appearance of gym pecs and spanx would be like a bloke in a girdle. :D Again to be clear that's me. TBH I don't like it seems most men find lingerie and all that paraphernalia particularly a turn on. Looks kinda daft to my eyes. Maybe cos my longtermers were usually hippie chicks where less was more, so it's what I'm used to?

Actually on the Kim wan, I so don't see the attraction at all. Like zip, nada. Looking at her I may as well be a gay fella TBH.

Now , please go and show me where I mentioned Irish or UK girls in my original post opening this thread?

Who said wear none?? it can be quite tasteful in moderation

She holds zero appeal, as do any of the rest of her family.
