Ah no I'm more upset I tested! I'll wait now and see. Sure you never know.

    Exactly - fingers crossed!!!
I don't think I have ovulated yet (possibly today) as my temp hasn't risen, last month my luteal phase was only 10 days - if FF app is correct with the ovulation timing so I'm curious to see what it will be this month.
I don't temp so I'd be interested to see too as I will start. It's like learnt a new subject in school!

Well after a fair amount of tears yesterday and today I'm looking forward to June :) maybe you will be our May success!
One more month for us and I will be going back to the dr to get a referral. Going to try accu puncture this month too.

I love your attitude, chin up indeed :)
Do you mind me asking are you almost a year trying or just deciding now to go for referral if nothing next month?
Great attitude indeed! I'm going back to acupuncture once I find one that easier to get too. Let me know how you go!

We will be a year trying next month. Hard to believe! Dr said she will refer me whenever I want at this point. I have no idea how the system works for this, im assuming we can go public for my testing until if/when we get a diagnosis and then any fertility treatment which might be required we go private???? Afaik you can't get public / free treatment in Ireland?

Finally back to trying , we haven't been living in our own house since we decided to TTC in Dec/January . We continued trying half heartily , but I'm hoping this month might be ours. I was getting very stressed out and worked up counting the months we have been trying. I needed to relax my mind and stay of doctor google. Ive been taking folic acid and tracking on Ovia. I went out of sync for a couple of months but seem to be getting back on track. So onwards and upwards

Yeah, the time rolls on doesn't it when you are having no joy. We're on our either cycle and had said we were going to stop trying after this month if nothing happened (we're getting married next year). We honestly both though that our cut off would never be an issue and here we are! That's good that your doc will refer you straight away. I wonder will it take long on the public system for investigations? It's terrible that any fertility related stuff is private - no assistance at all.

It's so true about trying to relax and not get stress - easier said than done. My job can be very stressful but I'm trying to manage it a bit in case that's having an affect.

I also had a cold for about a month , just run down.AF not due for another eight days so will see. I'm hoping this month I won't Google the earliest possible signs of pregnancy! Like I have every month since trying 😳

Guy a quick (and probably very TMI) question; my cycles have been all over the place, so our plan of action (no pun intended) is to do the no pants dance every second day, and that way we're most likely to catch ovulation if possible. However... this is making it kinda difficult to track the old cervical mucus; it's kinda difficult to tell if it's EWCM or, erm, baby gravy :o Google has been throwing up a tonne of different answers, has anyone got any tips for how to factor this into charting etc?

    Again, sorry for the TMI

Public appointments can be a long wait depending on we're you live. Sometimes can be quicker to go private for initial tests with a dr who also has a public list/clinic also and you can ask to be seen public after.
So hard to balance it all with work, the shifts are killing me and trying to decide if to study in sept and spend a chunk of money or keep it incase we need it!

It's so annoying. According to FF I'm apparently 9 DPO today. Had no ovulation symptoms at all, just a marked temp shift. Luckily we did the do on 2 of the 4 days it reckons I was fertile.

I had no ovulation symptoms last cycle either. In fact I was in foul humour that weekend as I was convinced I hadnt ovulated and it was going to be all over for me soon enough. Turns out I did... 6w4d now. But the temps had shown that I had too, it just wasnt obvious until a few days later.

It's very hard not to take work stress home, I'm not a greta sleeper if I am stressed but am trying to be more aware of my state. Fingers crossed for you. It's so tempting to google everything!!

I'm not sure I'm of any help but I track mine in the shower and apologies in advance... have a root around and inspect. That's usually my only way of noticing the EWCM. I only get that for max 1 or 2 days and it its obviously different than my other CM (even the watery one). I didn't notice any last month but according to bloods I did ovulate but I find that when using preseed this interferes with things and makes it harder to identify.
I'm so sorry for the TMI

I think we're going to keep going for the moment as it just seems like too long a wait!
Still hopeful it'll happen though :)

Creamy cm will sit on a tissue or on your finger whereas jizz will melt away / sink into the tissue. Ewcm will stretch between your fingers and the jizz will not or will break.

I got a positive hpt on Monday April 18th just before a work trip to france and two job interviews. Husband forbade me to test again until I got back (I just had so much on, and couldnt afford a meltdown) so I was wondering for four days whether it was happening or not. On the thursday evening, the day my period was due, I had quite a lot of bleeding (pink) and I was convinced it was all over. But it stopped again and none since. And I am still pregnant three weeks later. I swore after that Id never take an early pregnancy test again. I hope you have a positive outcome scousemouse.
