Yeah I did - thanks for that as I would never had before. I'm not sure it's worth going back to her if she thinks everything is fine so will probably just give it a few more months then go back to the clinic I guess.

It's so hard to know what to do. But if you are past the year she should be referring you on. Although as your with a fertility clinic it would be your choice which you went with.

Missus had "dildo cam" scan this morning, everything as it should be, good strong heartbeat, both of us teary eyed upon hearing it.

    About 6.5 weeks gone.

    :)

    That's great

I'm not sure if someone else has replied to you on this, and not to freak you out, but a GP's version of "normal" and fertility version of normal are quite different. Napro say your progesterone needs to be at least 60 to conceive without risk of miscarriage. I know they are stricter than most, but still worth probing your GP more. I went months thinking I was normal til I realised otherwise, and then quickly went from 28 to 100! Also, GP's idea of normal for thyroid function (below 4) is also way off the fertility recommendation of below 2.

    Best of luck!

My thyroid was 2.8, is that something I should be worried about? Doctor told me it was normal.

I was told my fsh was normal by gp. It really wasnt. I was told my testosterone was normal when it was actually very low. And I was told my progesterone implied I wasn't ovulating when in fact it was over thirty and I definitely did ovulate. Ya cant beat a specialist

It's so annoying to have to second guess them. I was at a specialist about two weeks ago and gave him my results. He didn't mention anything was unsatisfactory with them but I'll definitely ask him to double check next time I'm there.

I completely agree, very annoying that we need to doubt them.

It's so tough second guessing! I know all the normal values and work with the values daily so I really had to press her for my values as she kept saying there normal. I'm back next month once my cycle settles for proper 3/21 day bloods.

    I caved and used opk's!!
Second day of strong positive and ewcm yesterday and 3 days ago. So hopefully bd today, yesterday and Monday will be enough as won't see each other tomorrow. Try for Saturday too. Hopefully that's enough.
What day is dpo if using the cheapie opk?

I think with the CB it's the day after you get the solid smiley is when you ovulate so the following day would be 1dpo

Yeah I know that's why I don't know when your dpo starts when not using them. I feel I'm useless at this!

Ah sorry I get you now! Yeah I have no idea with the cheapie ones, maybe the day of the strongest positive is the day of ovulation...terribly scientific I am :/

If not already doing so you should also temp as this will show you the exact date you ovulate. Albeit it is after the event it's great to confirm ovulation. Once you a a sharp shift up in your temps for three days it wil confirm the date. Really handy for a pattern.

I find it much easier to temp and check cm than use opk as they don't work for everyone. Also A positive opk does not guarantee you have ovulated, only a sharp rise in temperature will ( which will remain elevated if you are pregnant or drop back once your period comes) I can't recommend it enough.

Fertility friend is great for little snippets

Ooh exciting!! We will be TWW buddy's- think im about 4dpo. My temps are all over the place this month :(
Hubby got his semanalysis results back - all good. Not fabulous but a good bit above average so all good with him. I'm delighted for him but I can't help the niggle in my mind that if there is something wrong now we know it's me for sure. I'll be giving it 2 months then back to the doc for a referral.

Indeed likewise. I'm going to be good and not symptom spotting or googling as there to similar to Af symptoms! Fly indeed, on nights for most of it so hoping I'm super busy and it flies!

I've a question about temping actually - my temperature seems to rise the morning after I have had a few drinks/ glasses of wine, is that normal?

Good luck on your tww ladies, fingers crossed for you both. I didn't symptom check last month and felt so much better for it. God a shock when my AF arrived earlier than expected though but I felt it went much quicker as I wasn't over analysing every single thing.

I think that happened me too. But I'm off the booze a good while now as I figured it wouldn't help my chances.

Ruaillebuille my temp always rockets up day after drinking. I'm a very occasional drinker so doesn't happen much! But I generally ignore the temp the day after I drink.
