Just because he was arrested doesn't mean he's guilty lads..... though this doesn't look good, ruins his good guy image if true.

While I agree, the timing is horrid for him. WWE were probably looking for an excuse to get rid of him and now they have it.

to be honest he was doomed from day one, his gimmick was on the same level of cringe as the Funkasaurus and the Gobbledygooker.

obviously lets wait and see if it's true but if so he is 100% gone. One would assume the WWE would wait before releasing him too (unless it is a cut and dry case) incase releasing him blows up in their face.

A real surprise after how he was portrayed in that ESPN e60 show.

A quick explanation from Wikipedia

Witness tampering is the act of attempting to alter or prevent the testimony of witnesses within criminal or civil proceedings.

sounds like he threatened someone so that they wouldn't report his domestic battery but I suppose they did anyway. Really contradicts the image I'd say most had because of the ESPN special but if it did happen he is sooo gone from the WWE. tbh it isn't any real loss to the company and the fact that he seemed to be such a nice guy (and have a kid in an unfortunate condition) was probably the main reason people didn't wanna see him gone before now.

The details of his case are calling the fact that he grabbed the phone off his wife tampering with a witness.

PWInsider.com has acquired the criminal report affidavit for the arrest of WWE star Adam Rose, real name Ray Leppan, filed by the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s office in Florida.
According to the report, Leppan and his wife were involved in an argument about the state of their marriage when he grabbed her face with his hands and pulled her close to his face as he screamed at her. His wife dialed 911 from their home phone but Leppan took the phone from her to prevent her from reporting the incident. According to the arresting officers, Leppan admitted he took the phone from his wife.
Leppan grabbing the phone from his wife resulted in the tampering with a witness charge, which is a felony in the state of Florida.
The domestic battery charge is a misdemeanor, and Rose is still in jail with no bond.

I thought he had beaten up his wife

while there is no excuse for what he did I thought it would be far worse

Why was he already suspended from WWE, was it drugs?

Wellness violation. He claimed it was an anti ADHD drug he has been on for a while and WWE knew about, but it flagged up this time on his tests.

Yeah is was for drugs. But instead of being silent like most are, Rose called them out on it and proved he a legit reason for the drugs. But this will be the nail in the coffin for him.

If he stopped taking his ADHD drugs because of the WWE and his job security he could us that for the reason he lost his temper.

He could claim that his prescribed med's helped him with his temper but because he failed a drug test at work and couldn't afford to lose his job he stopped taking his prescribed meds.

That's Florida, where the WWE, through setting up all of the developmental stuff for years, has effectively made the default home location of their whole roster. It's extremely transparent about this stuff.

When people go on about Florida being this crazy place because of all the nuts police reports that emerge, what they don't realise is that similar stuff could be happening all over the place, it just isn't publicly broadcast in a hell of a lot of detail the second it happens.

I do not think anyone is shocked to hear the guy got released. Once he got arrested his job in wwe was gone.

But of course, unless you are a bonafide main eventer like Steve Austin who beat up his wife Debra. That would be different. WWE would sweep that under the rug.... like they did!
