Anybody get a 'not processing your application at this time' letter in the post?

Yeah buddy, quite a few. Appears to be those of us who scored below 65, I wouldn't worry though just means more time to prepare for the PCA if/when we do get processed.
    Add your reply here.
What does that actually mean? Does that mean we're out? Ive got nothing yet. No letter, no forms. Ive a friend in c2 and he only got his online learning email 2wks ago and has yet to do his PCA

They are taking an extra 100 from C2 before they start into C3. That's why your friend has got his online learning and we haven't yet. C3 is being done in batches so it seems to be 65 and over in the first group and the rest are on hold. Doesn't mean you're out though - just that they'll contact u in due course.

I like you doctor no... You seem to be in the know ;)

Well I aim to please lol

Is this an extra 100 from now?
Hope they exhaust C3 the same way.

I think so. Prob hoping to get 2 squads out of it. Hopefully they will - not sure when the next recruitment opens! I know there's approx 350 in the first group of C3.

Any idea how many have gone to GV in C2?

Just working out odds. If 905 passed AC and they are taking 350 then that seems to be decent odds.

Wel the 350 is just the first group. Not sure how many they'll take in total. No idea how many they've taken from C2 but I imagine quite a few as the squads all have approx 50 in them.

We're did the info they are taking an extra 100?
I had my medical week or two ago for c2 and passed sonic they have another squad through I'm hoping I will be in it.
I passed the AC for this year, tho got the letter at the weekend saying wasn't progressing yet but in the merit pool....for people new to this I got 3 of those letters for C2 so don't feel disheartened and have now passed everythin,it's a long old process! From the day I got the letter for c2 saying my application was progressing again it took 4 months for vetting /PCA/medical

Hey guys as I said before there is apparently the need to recruit into 2019 for new officers pending funding which would explain why they have lowered the pass mark on this campaign to make sure they had a large pool to get officers from. I'd say there is a good chance that C3 will be exhausted to after all why lower the pass rate to 55 if it was a number they didn't think they would need to go down to to recruit, they could have easily kept it at the usual 60 pass mark. I think everyone has a good chance but it will just take time. Also as for the 65 as the cut off mark in this first batch I don't think that Is correct. I know people on 65 and 66 who have not had vetting forms given to them so they have not clearly maxed out everyone who scored that score yet.

Vetting forms sent off today! So glad to get them away. Had to laugh at me sitting in work putting on a fullface of makeup to go get my pictures taken.

Haha, I was in a rush. Went to one of those photo booths, got the photos, thought, I'm not bad looking in those, sent it off with the forms and headed to work. Looking at the photos now, oh goodness, I certainly hope I do get the opportunity to change it if I get that far. Weather beaten after being dragged through a hedge would best describe it.

I went to a chemist and had a person do them for me. Had to do a few retakes but all in all I was happy with the result :P

No I haven't received it. Is it via email? I didn't think anybody from this campaign got it yet though.

Normally that's right but they're doing it all parallel this time so it'll prob be out before PCA

Letters will be sent out before end of May. Dates likely to be during June.

Mr Man in the Know... I don't suppose you know if it's from the very start of June e.g. 1st? I've a holiday booked from the second week to the end of June :(

I'm in the top 14 going by the FOI - scored above 80.

This is definately going to clash lol :(

No way :(. I have put all trips and holidays on hold for now until I get my date. I am high 60s so know there is a lot before me.

I emailed them after the AC as I've a holiday booked for the third week in June and wanted to know whether I should cancel it and they said not to worry about clashing dates as it wouldn't be a problem to reschedule due to things like holidays. However it may set you back a squad but I'd say you'd be fine considering you got over 80. No doubt it will clash with mine as well. Or I will have to do it the first week back and be incredibly unfit.

One was responded to a couple of weeks ago.

    In short

    2121 attended AC
    905 passed
    A total of 590 obtained above 60%
    A total of 155 obtained above 70%
    A total of 14 obtained above 80%.

Taking away the initial 590 over 60 that would leave
    315 that got 55-59

    Hope this helps
