I've a question about temping actually - my temperature seems to rise the morning after I have had a few drinks/ glasses of wine, is that normal?

Yeah it would go up due to your sleep being slightly disturbed. Rem quality is effected do pushes bbt up.

Ruaillebuille my temp always rockets up day after drinking. I'm a very occasional drinker so doesn't happen much! But I generally ignore the temp the day after I drink.

Thanks, it's a bit annoying - I don't have more than a glass or two at home most weekends but have had occasion to have a bit more recently so seems to really throw it out.

Scousemouse, drink totally messes my sleep so I probably should record the temp as soon as I first wake but I usually try to wait until around 7ish. I"m not a great sleeper in general - wake frequently and toss and turn a lot so I'm not sure how accurate my temping is.
Will keep going though as I'm not using opk's.

I'm the same never sleep after drinking, but not drank much since Xmas really. That's what puts me off temping, I'm such a bad sleeper in general so how accurate is it going to be? Your right to keep going!

I just record temp when I first wake whenever that is. Usually 5.30 or so.

Day 9dpo. Not googling any potential symptoms and feeling much better for it. Now to keep myself busy!
    How's everyone going?

Well done and the best thing is that you are almost there :)
I'm just ending my fertile period, not sure if I have ovulated yet - no symptoms of note but hoping I did yesterday or today as we BD'd every day for the past 3. Temping so I guess it will show on that in a day or two and hopefully we get lucky this month!

Yeah I don't feel too different just sore back/ twinges on the left and bloated but sure that could be due to work/food/Af or tiredness.
The temping should definitely show it! I'd say you are covered if so!

Hopefully but it's hard to tell - thought we were covered every other month too and that hasn't worked out so well :/
Has your cycle settled down now do you think?

It's so hard to know but fingers!
I hope so but I will have to wait 3 months maybe more to truly see. I'm so impatient this ttc business is a test to the little patience I have

Me too, the first few months were ok but now it's a serious challenge. Those to conceive very quickly really don't know how lucky they are!

Not great here- temp dropped like a stone today so just waiting for my period to start any minute now. And to put a cherry on top, the girl beside me in work (one of the baby chatters!) announced she's pregnant with num 2 yesterday. I nearly burst into tears at the desk while trying to smile and congratulate her. I feel like such a bitch that someone else's amazing news is breaking my heart.

It's so tough. I'm so happy for them but the envy is unreal! Trying to keep positive but very hard at times! Lots of 'it comes in threes' talk in work! Hope it's me!

Well after a fair amount of tears yesterday and today I'm looking forward to June :) maybe you will be our May success!
One more month for us and I will be going back to the dr to get a referral. Going to try accu puncture this month too.

Hope so but I don't feel any different. But thinking positively!!
I love accupunture having it for an injury. Reiki and reflexology are fab too. Your right to get a referral even if it's to get the all clear. The peace of mind alone or a plan definitely worth it

10 dpo and took a preg test. Negative, can't believe I tested! Raging! But Dh was away so thought I would and now annoyed! Anyway onwards and upwards.

You aren't out yet! Sure you may not have even implanted by 10dpo and then you still need 2 days for the hcg to show on a test! It's so defeating to see a negative though even though you know it's too early! I once cried cos I got a neg at 8dpo. (I now no longer have a stash of tests in the house! I was becoming a weirdo!)

I'm just annoyed I tested going to wait until I miss Af or get Af and that decides it! No more testing!!!

Don't give up hope - it might just be too early. It's very hard to resist testing, I nearly always cave in and then I'm so disappointed.

Ah no I'm more upset I tested! I'll wait now and see. Sure you never know.

Weirdo is right, I don't want it ruling everything either. Easier said than done.

    Exactly - fingers crossed!!!
I don't think I have ovulated yet (possibly today) as my temp hasn't risen, last month my luteal phase was only 10 days - if FF app is correct with the ovulation timing so I'm curious to see what it will be this month.

I love your attitude, chin up indeed :)
Do you mind me asking are you almost a year trying or just deciding now to go for referral if nothing next month?
