Well. In my area we had all the weather today. And then some weather. Followed by more weather. Everything from beautiful early August to the depths of winter. On a ten minute cycle.

Cold and some light patchy rain in N Longford, looking at the met.ie radar it looks a lot worse down the east.
Bad forecast for the weekend and supposed to be going to Clifden for a couple of days, might cancel!

    As whelan would say 'Fook'
Mrs wants to wash the cubicles next week, I'm trying to convince her we might need to use them again.

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

I travelled from Louth to Offaly today in the middle of the day. According to the thermometer in the jeep it varied from 10C to 3C. Any time there was a shower of hail it dipped down to 4C.

Just drove through from Carrigallen to Ballinamore, yes they are covered in snow, looks good but surreal in this time of year.

Absolutely brutal here. Cows and calves lining up against ditches with humps on there backs like it was the middle of December. I rehoused a dozen of the cows and calves today out of pure sympathy for them( plus I reckon with the cold my grass wedge might go a bit lob sided.)
This post was from may 2nd last year... I had to rehouse cows at night for a week at this time last year, hope theres no repeat this year
