Electric outboard - small boat on a lake

Hi - I know there was a similar thread on this last year but my boat is a lot smaller so thought I'd start a new one. Basically, I've built a pretty light, 10ft, plywood rowing boat. She rows very easily, feels light but also feels safe and stable, generally very happy. I plan on using it on short lake trips, doubt I'd ever venture out for longer than 3-4 hours, will always have oars as backup, avoid larger areas of water where you might get a bit of swell or so far that I couldn't row home easily. I'd like a little electric outboard. Would a 42 ft/lb Bison (or equivalent) be sufficient? No interest in speed. More interested in safety for 2 people, not much gear other than the battery. Any advice welcome. Tks...
