Leinster have controversially picked a highly experimental side to play a crunch match against 6th place Edinburgh.

In a shock decision, Sexton has been dropped to play Madigan at 10, a move which can only be described as 'getting your money's worth' before the heir apparent to the Irish 10 moves to Bordeaux. (waht? Paddy who? Is he from the north side?).

Similarly, Ben "I'm in it for the money" T'e'o has replaced the messiah, when surely we should just be paying him to hold some tackle bags until he leaves.

On a lower key, Jamie Heaslip has been replaced by Jordi Murphy who lately has shown a higher ability to prance about like a pony while wearing bang and olufsen headphones: "Everyone knows Beats are too heavy on the low end", explained the young Catalonian.

These key areas will surely spell a tight defeat for a young and inexperienced Leinster team with only 17 Internationals and 2,076 caps between the 23.

    Edinburgh by a gazillion.

Leinster to win but not by much. I've little faith in Madigan at this point, to be honest, but can completely understand Sexton being rested.

    Damn you and your context!

Madigan is a concern that's for sure. Jordi will be fine at 8. Hopefully the pack can generate enough clean ball to give Madigan time and minimize his poor decision making.

It's giving him time that allows him to make decisions. Give him a split second to play on instinct and he'll thrive.

Or we'll get a good laugh.

Madigan will be grand, he's had a good enough season even if his game time has been limited.

    Leinster by 7-10 I reckon.

I know your preview is in jest but I think that Leinster selection is taking the piss with home playoff spots up for grabs. Leinster should win at home but this selection doesn't make it a foregone conclusion IMO.

The RDS is a "bit of a dump of a stadium"... ha!

RDS looks minus a lot of season ticket holders. Probably Leo's team selection might be a reason

I'd probably lean towards that myself. I think I'd like to at least see Sexton on the bench.

    Anyway, let's go!

Teo looks so much more dangerous at 13 even this early on

Why kick? Overlap to his left

That whole attack stemmed from an illegal maul by Leinster, several players joining the maul ahead of the ball carrier. Rarely called by refs but so obvious

Gyaaaaaaa, I know we had advantage, but that kick was awful.

    Promising start though.

Leinster fans booing a referee? Oh, the humanity!

Edinburgh here for the taking and we're messing it up in the 22 far too much.

Ruddock and Ben are making some serious yards.

(As opposed to casual, fun loving, and feckless yardage).

Luke Fitzgerald is the most dangerous runner on the pitch when he gets the ball. So let's play narrow and never give it to him.

    Leinster are playng puke rugby.

Is that some form Cian Healy is finding? Heaven forbid.

He's playing well today that's for sure. Teo making yards every time, Luke Fitz dangerous every time he gets the ball

    I'm knocking this rubbish off.

Burleigh is a seriously lucky boy. First of all to get away with the contact on teos eyes and again not to get a yellow there

That was a far more blatant yellow that the 1st.
