It's official, HTC finally nailed the camera. Highest ever score on dxomark, level with the S7

    http://www.dxomark.com/Mobiles/HTC-10-camera-overview-A-great-all-rounder-for-stills-and-video

HTC Ireland showing €799 and all the wrong specs from the A9. They better sort that out.

Nice phone. Better than any of the recent Android phones IMO.

    Hopefully it reviews well.

Will be keeping an eye this one.

Might wait till Amazon get it, at bit pricey direct from HTC.

Any interesting buying options out there ?

The Ice View case (upgraded from Dot View) looks lovely too.

Would there be any chance of buying this in Europe any cheaper?
Off to Germany this weekend, would be nice if I could get it a few bob less.

    Lovely looking phone.
Camera looks promising and very similar to the much applauded S7, plus it has OIS on the front facing camera too.
The audio DAC is given a strong emphasis and the phone supposedly ships with a "quality" pair of earbuds.
No water / dust proofing as far as I can see.
    NFC, Mircast and DNLA.
    USB type-C

Price looks high initially but give it 4 months or so to drop off if you can wait, so hopefully Sep/Oct if you want to save a few quid on it.

So who's getting one already :D

    Ordered from HTC just there.

By the way. No wireless charging.
Doesn't matter to me but I know some have a preference for it.
    Deal breaker?

    Memememememeeee!

Subject to battery reviews, clarification on the "other" chipset mentioned in places for "some" markets, and getting it for a little cheaper than 8 ton off HTC themselves.

Otherwise I'm giddy as a kid for this phone, it's pretty much what I've been looking for for more than a year and a half.

Confirmation on ir blaster? One of the more useful if seemingly under utilised features of other HTCs

Just love the M8, have it around 18 months now and the 10 sorts out the only issues I have with it.

Basically I went from a iP5S to the M8 to the S6E and straight back to M8. The M9 offered nothing new to me really so I skipped it but this looks special.

Was gonna wait til Iphone 7 as a recently converted iOS fan, but might pick this up now instead, waiting on reviews of course

ye, I'm pretty excited about this phone. Haven't been like this for a long time. Looking forward to getting it ASAP.

When is it available to have in our hands?

Traditionally Germany is more expensive than here. I have mates in Germany that often order from the UK or elsewhere in Europe. They are showing €699 on their site though, and I'm seeing €799 for us, which can't be right.

I paid €550 for M8 on release, anything over €700 can't be right

Odd discrepancies in pricing thus far. UK and Germany cheapest.

Yeah, I drove to Newry for the M8 and got it for something like €545 a week before it was out here for €600. I ignore the cost of the fuel :D

Apparently its exclusive on Three for the first 6 weeks, and will cost €699. Which is weird coz its €799 direct from HTC.
With Three though, it seems to be cheaper here than the UK by around 20 euro.

That's a balls, although with me not having an upgrade/contract end due until August/September, it's not so bad...

I assume the €699 is for PAYG??

Any word on pricing of the Lifestyle model?

Loved the M7 and M8, the M9 was so bad that it made me jump to Samsung with the S6 but this the HTC 10 could see me jump back. A lot will depend on the camera and I can't pretend I'm not disappointed that Boomsound isn't back but early impressions seem to be positive and I'm definitely more interested in it than the S7.

HTC official website now showing as
    749.00 € total price

I could swear that it changed from €799 to €749 right before my eyes!

    Look at the specs:
    http://www.htc.com/ie/smartphones/htc-10/

    BoomSound is back.

    "HTC BoomSound™ Hi-Fi Edition"

Instead of the dual front speakers, theres one dual front speaker at the top and another at the bottom beside the charger.
There was a problem on the M7 and M8 where dirt would get into the speaker grills and block the sound. That gets around that. I'd guess thats why they changed it.

Ye, before you select the "Carrier" its €799. Then drops 50 euro for some reason when you select HTC.

In reality it was changed to accommodate the fingerprint scanner.

    It looks lovely.

I'd definitely be tempted to sell my 5X and splash the cash on this if it's as close to stock Android as it looks.
