I have the M7 which the kids use to cast a certain app using Chromecast, or they use it for games. Still a brilliant phone.
I use the M8 all the time and it's a great phone despite the camera. I didn't upgrade to the M9 as it wasn't anything great. Battery on M8 is super.
I will buy the M10 in the next few days once I see a few hands on reviews. It sounds spectacular and has got me excited! Battery is all important, I am a heavy user and need it to last the whole day.

Confirmation on ir blaster? One of the more useful if seemingly under utilised features of other HTCs

    No IR blaster :(

That leaves me dithering between LG G5 or the Huawei P9 plus due out in May which seems to tick nearly every box.

In reality it was changed to accommodate the fingerprint scanner.

It helps but there is truth in the speakers getting clogged as i know well from working in a dusty environment a few years back when I had my M7.

Pending reviews I could see myself switching back from my S6.

So the leaked renders were legit, which is pretty nice! It only looks a bit thick, but I guess that's ok.
Hopefully battery life is good, too.

UK site seems to be out of the black model, I should have ordered it last night when I had the chance :( Anyone know when other places will be doing pre-sale?

I'm in the same boat. Gonna start hassling htc elevate and htc Ireland for a discount code. I could handle paying €675.

Might just do the same, €30 just for the colour I want is more justifiable than €100 :p

I've only seen it available on for pre-order HTCs site. I think we'll have to wait to see what the networks re offering. Saw someone of HTC Ireland's Facebook saw it was 3 exclusive but I doubt thats the case.

What are you using for delivery?

    Edit: and your billing address?

Parcel Motel or similar I would guess. Are people putting the billing address as here? I'm telling them Dublin is in GB :/

Don't they match billing up against your card? You still used Parcel Motel for both?

Are people using credit cards or paypal? I've tried to put the order through a couple of times now and I cant get past paypal.

EDIT: Tried my card and I got this "Server Error

    Error:

We are unable to perform the selected action. We apologise for the inconvenience.

    Error Number: SIT_000002"

EDIT 2: Nm must be something of their side. Just got a email confirming the order.

What's the difference between Standard and Express shipping, aside from €16.74?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,232 ✭✭✭DGRulz

    Assuming its quicker?

Well, Standard is €16.74, while Express comes up as €0.00! Seems odd, hence my query.

I think they're just doing a special on express for the presale.

I just went express as it cost nothing. I ordered the white version and I'm trying to change it to the carbon version as I thought we were getting the black face white back version that now is US only. Have to wait 24 hrs for HTC to call me back to see if I can change it.
